Service work on existing systems is where a homeowner hears the most detail. A recent customer said technician Bryant Mendoza installed critter guards on their existing solar panels. One customer whose panels were not running at full capacity said Bryant Mendoza analyzed the system and diagnosed two blown fuses. A customer whose 77-panel array PurePoint designed and installed said Bryant Mendoza came to repair a down inverter and worked all day in 90+ degree heat on a shade-free flat roof to get the system back up and running. A recent customer said their panel issue was solved in one visit and the panels were cleaned for the first time in 3 years. A 2026 customer said Bryant came back to remount two solar panels that had blown down in a wind storm. A 2025 customer whose company has over 1200 apartments in the New Haven area said PurePoint had installed solar projects on 15 of its buildings, with rooftop panels and carport infrastructure. A 2023 customer said PurePoint built the 10kw PV system they purchased in 2021 and customized the plan to trim specific tree branches so 200 year old trees could stay. A recent 4-star reviewer said Bryan Mendoza troubleshot an SMA inverter that no longer worked, and that they were awaiting word from the company about purchasing a new inverter. A 2026 customer said they experienced some challenges in the earlier years, and that over the past year the service department had been attentive and responsive. A 2025 reviewer who called about a residential system wrote that they learned the company no longer does residential.
