Water and fire damage bring homeowners to Quality Contracting for cleanup and rebuilding. The Auburn company says it began in 1998, added emergency and mitigation services in 2005, and expanded into capital improvement projects in 2012. It offers residential, commercial and institutional work. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active; a separate active construction supervisor licence belongs to Todd Ostrokolowicz. BBB gives the company an A+ grade and identifies it as accredited, while Google reports 4.6 stars from 94 ratings. Recent customers describe the early cleanup stages in detail. An August 2026 homeowner credited Javier, Jose and Luis with saving century-old flooring after a roof leak, containing the work and protecting other rooms; remaining remediation and reconstruction were still ahead. Another August customer praised Johanna’s fire-cleanup team while awaiting the repair team. A July customer said a team arrived the day of the call to begin ice-dam remediation and described remediation through repair as seamless. An August account credited Mike Bonnette’s team with covering floors, sealing entries, filtering air, replacing sheetrock and plastering after ice-dam damage. Separately, a moving customer praised Henry’s team for careful, fast work and a reasonable quote. Completed rebuilding also appears in older accounts. Writing in October 2023 about a May 2022 house fire, Peggy and Larry Kohn described Michael Bonnette managing restoration, packing and storage, and rebuilding involving carpenters John Ellis, Steve Henry and Alex. They said the project finished ahead of the insurer’s anticipated timeline. A January 2023 customer described restoration and renovation of a bathroom, kitchen and basement drum room after a leak. An April 2022 reviewer alleged a nine-week wait after demolition, poorly fitted drywall and debris left behind; a separate April 2022 account alleged botched repairs followed by the company walking out. A May 2023 reviewer alleged reckless highway driving. An April 2026 customer reported a several-hour scheduling delay, then praised the remediation work and Johana’s daily checks. A May 2024 homeowner described a defective driveway after a house rebuild, but also said Jim Reinke agreed it needed fixing and oversaw the completed correction after Quality had been paid in full.
