Homeowners here tend to remember who showed up. Darren and Steven explained an insulation job “beginning to end” in an April 2024 review; Charlie insulated a whole house in October 2022; Jose, Christian and “Neil” did an attic in January 2022 and walked the owner through everything they had done. Quality Insulation & Building Products runs out of 2 Industrial Rd in Milford, and its own Angi and HomeAdvisor copy describes it as a TruTeam company; BBB records the business as started in 1968 and incorporated in 1993, with T J Polland as owner. Insulation and air sealing come up more than any other job: another attic was insulated and air-sealed in August 2025, and a June 2026 customer credited Chris Nordstrom with punctual, communicative handling and pricing they were happy with. On Google the company averages 4 stars across 24 ratings, and in February 2026 a commenter in r/WorcesterMA called the Milford outfit “pretty good.” Gutters are the other line of work with customers behind it. A March 2024 reviewer hired them for gutters, dealt with Zachary from start to finish, and got answers back right away. The 5.0 ratings on the Angi and HomeAdvisor pages come from two seamless-gutter reviews, dated May 2021 and July 2017, that appear on both sites — two customers, not four. Three complaints are about the work itself. A homeowner whose new build the company foundation-proofed in 2019, under a ten-year warranty against water leaks, wrote in July 2026 that water kept coming through the same cracks the company had repaired more than once, and that the water issues returned again in March 2026. In an August 2024 review, a customer said a portion of the open-cell insulation was never sprayed, and that after the manager agreed by phone they were in the wrong and promised to call back, a week went by with no response. An April 2023 review cites improper installation of fiberglass batts and spray foam. A fourth 1-star review, from July 2025, is about conduct rather than workmanship: someone in Cambridge asked a crew to move a work truck out of the road and said the employee flipped them off. The paperwork needs a question too. Its BBB page carries an A+ grade, while the state registry's home improvement contractor registration for Quality Insulation & Building Products, #138158, is expired. BBB separately lists two other numbers for the company: 153418 from the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulations, and CSSL-100189 from the Department of Public Safety and Inspections. For attic insulation, air sealing and gutter work, this is a long-running Milford shop whose crews get named in the good reviews. Before you sign, ask where the state registration stands, get the warranty terms and the callback process written into any waterproofing or spray-foam job, and settle who you call if part of the work is missed.

Quality Insulation foundation-proofed my new build back in 2019 with a 10-year warranty against water leaks. Over the years, water continued coming through the exact same foundation cracks they supposedly "fixed" multiple times. In March 2026, the water issues returned again—with visible water leaking through the wall directly onto my basement floor below grade. When I reached out, sales rep Mark LaChance assured me they would fix the problem, only to completely disappear and ignore every follow-up call. Manager Justin Gelinas was even worse: total radio silence, ignored emails, and unreturned phone calls. They say that the warranty "only covers water, not moisture, and must be below grade"—ignoring the photos clear as day showing water below grade on my floor. They do not honor their 10-year warranty, and their customer service is atrocious. Avoid Quality Insulation at all costs.
Chris Nordstrom was incredible to work with, professional, punctual and communicative. Pricing was great and the product was better- he helped us in ways we didn’t know we needed and has been awesome through the whole process. Would hire, and intend to hire, again.

One of their work trucks was blocking the road (Dover street in Cambridge, July 18th 2025). When I asked if they could park their truck a bit further in the driveway so it wasnt blocking the road, their employee flipped me off. Highly unprofessional and they clearly have no regard for the communities they serve.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM Update: manager replied which is phone number, I called him, he said they were in the wrong and would call me back after he investigated, a week later I have gotten no response. They forgot to spray a portion of the open cell insulation, when I called them they did come back to spray after 2 weeks of them telling me they’d be there the next day, but didn’t recover windows and flooring, in result they Left a mess at my project I had to scrape off brand new windows and off the plywood floors. I was going to just chalk it up to a learning experience and go with someone else for future projects. They only sent me 3 of their 5 invoices, which i figured since they were still working on those areas of the scope they would send later. The salesman proceeded to send me a text saying they were going to put a lean on the house for the invoices they never even sent to me. I don’t know how they expected me to pay and invoice I never even received, and to threaten me with a lean due to their negligence is extremely unprofessional not to mention the added work they made for me.
