Nor’easter advertises residential and commercial roofing from Whitinsville, Massachusetts, and Meredith, New Hampshire. The company says customers can deal directly with owner Rob Chaille and reports 38 years in business. Alongside roofing, it advertises siding, windows, insulation, chimney work, gutters and ice-dam services. BBB lists an A+ grade and accreditation. Google showed a 5-star average from 53 ratings in August 2026, while HomeAdvisor showed 4.9 stars from 25 ratings. Roof-replacement customers describe work on houses and garages. An April 2026 Google reviewer, who had used Rob at a previous home as well as their new residence, reported fair pricing and a transferable warranty. They said the crew finished a large house and detached garage in one day despite an initial two-day projection, then cleaned up thoroughly. A September 2025 reviewer described a temporary repair for a leaking, weathered roof before replacement, coordination of chimney work, and a final check for stray nails and old material. Winter calls drew praise for response times. In February 2026 reviews, one customer said the team arrived the same day to remove roof snow; another said Rob called back within 30 minutes and came the next day for ice dams. An April 2026 reviewer described advice during an emergency and quick scheduling for roof-dam clearing that February. One February 2026 customer had a different experience with ice-dam removal. They praised the speed and snow clearing but said the ice dams were not addressed as expected, their front and back steps were buried, and work began without a contract being shown or shared for signature. They credited the owner with attempting to make it right. An older HomeAdvisor review, posted in September 2009, reported damage to siding, a brick walk, a gutter and a deck during the work.
