Coogan is the best! I had no heat on a Saturday morning. He was on another job, but said he would get to me. So many companies advertise 24/7 but Coogan is one of the few that really provides it. I received a follow up phone call from him the next morning to make sure that everything was OK. When you work with Coogan, it’s like you’re part of the family. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the service is

Finding good contractors is always a challenge. I cannot say enough positive things about R.E. Coogan. I used them this summer for an extremely complex oil furnace to combi-boiler transition and would not have made it through the process without Coogan. From day 1 Bobby and his staff helped me communicate with RI Energy to have the gas lines run, proactively completed small amounts of work whenever possible to speed up the timeline, and kept me posted every step of the way. His staff is extremely professional and left their workspace spotless every day. He even helped me get the majority of the project financed through clean energy programs I was not even aware of. The service didn't stop when the job was done, Bobby has called several times to see how things are running since the transition is completed. Five stars is not enough!

R. E. Coogan Heating Inc. is an exceptional company, and I highly recommend them. When our hot water boiler stopped working over a weekend, I spent Monday calling several companies for help. Most either weren't familiar with my boiler or couldn't schedule a service call for days. When I called Rob, the owner of R. E. Coogan Heating Inc., he explained that they were busy but promised to stop by that evening to see what he could do. Rob arrived around 7 PM and spent over an hour troubleshooting the problem. Although he couldn't get the boiler running that night, he assured me he would contact the manufacturer the next day and continue looking for a solution. True to his word, he called me the following day with recommendations from the manufacturer and returned that evening to try them. It was clear that he was doing everything possible to repair the boiler and save us the expense of a replacement. Unfortunately, the boiler could not be repaired because the required parts were no longer available from the manufacturer. After exhausting every reasonable option to restore it, Rob helped us move forward with a replacement as quickly as possible. After four days without hot water, I expected we would have to wait at least another week for a new installation. Rob initially estimated that the work could begin Friday and be completed by Monday. However, he called Wednesday to let me know he had rearranged his schedule and hoped to start earlier. At 3 PM on Thursday, Rob arrived with Henry and Nick to begin removing the old boiler. He then brought in additional crew members the next day and worked hard to complete the installation as quickly as possible. As promised, our new boiler was installed and our hot water was restored by Friday evening. What impressed me most was Rob's commitment to helping us. He went out of his way to accommodate our family, worked tirelessly to find the most cost-effective solution, and followed through on every promise he made. Henry, Nick, and the rest of the team were professional, courteous, and respectful of our home, leaving everything clean when the job was finished. It is rare to find a company that combines expertise, integrity, and genuine care for its customers the way R. E. Coogan Heating Inc. does. We are extremely grateful to Rob and his team for their outstanding service and highly recommend them.

How often does someone have an emergency HVAC matter on a Saturday morning and get the owner of the company answer the phone. Apparently ALWAYS at R.E. Cooling, Inc. Awakened mid-morning Saturday with no A/C. Did what I could but had no effect, so I Googled and found R.E. Cooling, selected emergency, and R E. actually answered the phone. I described the problem, he said he was in the area and would be by shortly. And minutes later, there he was. He did his work and shortly thereafter, I had A/C again. There aren't enough stars to rate something like this at 8:00 AM on a Saturday morning! Thank you Mr. Coogan. You're my HVAC guy from now on. Barry R. Schupp Coventry, RI
