Radon Done Right installs radon mitigation systems. A 2026 Reddit commenter said Steve had recently installed one in their basement, and that radon levels went from double digits to less than 1. The company says it has been in business 19 years and offers free estimates. On Google it holds 4.7 stars from 22 ratings. A 2023 customer said that after the install the air tested at.5, down from an average of 4. A 2023 reviewer wrote that the installation was completed in a few short hours and that radon dropped from 3.7 to 0.4. A 2023 customer with a log style home said he did the install in one day and that the system was still working several months later, over winter. In a 2025 review, a customer whose basement radon test came back a bit high said one quote was for $10k. That 2025 customer wrote that Steve recommended testing all the living spaces first; the tests came in low, and the customer bought a $700 industrial dehumidifier. A 2026 customer said the basement setup had other systems Steve had to work around, and called his pricing more than fair. A 2022 customer said Steve answered the phone when a closer company did not, came out for an estimate within a couple days, and was on site within days of that. The same 2022 customer said the long-term level was at or below 1 on a regular basis afterward.

Steve installed our radon mitigation system and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience. He is quite possibly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met—professional, kind, and easy to work with from start to finish. Our basement setup made the job a bit challenging, with other systems he had to work around, but Steve never cut corners. He took the time to carefully plan everything out and made sure the job was done right without compromising the quality of the system or his craftsmanship. It’s clear he takes a lot of pride in his work. On top of that, his pricing was more than fair, especially considering the extra effort our situation required. I had a radon test on my basement come back a bit high. I contacted several companies to get a quote for radon as well as moisture control in my seldom used basement. One quote I got was for $10k. When Steve assessed my home, he recommended I test all the living spaces and if the tests come back ok, then work on just the moisture issue. (His ethics are remarkable) As it happens, the tests came in really low, I bought a $700 industrial dehumidifier and it’s all taken care of. He saved me almost $10,000! I am forever grateful and would recommend him without question!
Steve is a remarkable person who takes great pride in his work. He is meticulous, doesn't cut any corners and you wouldn't know he was in your basement when he's done. His workmanship is top-notch.
