Radon Removal Systems

Our Home Inspection indicated we had radon levels above what it should be. We contacted Radon Removal Systems and they quickly got us an appointment to install the system. Victor and Joe were fabulous! They came in and installed the system in the perfect place, and slightly hidden from view. They were very polite and cleaned up so you could never tell they were there. Wonderful! I would recommend them to anyone with Radon issues.

When I called to schedule the estimate for radon mitigation I spoke with Greg and he was so professional and reassuring that I was positive I was going to work with this company moving forward. He scheduled my estimate about a week and a half later and I received a couple other estimates during that time but Greg really impressed me. The guys who showed up to do my estimate were two hours late, absolutely covered in fiberglass that tracked throughout my house and could not have cared less about their jobs. At first I thought it was a joke how they were acting. I was shocked at how unprofessional they were. My husband is a contractor and he wasn't home at the time and when I told him what had happened he said we definitely dodged a bullet. I wouldn't have trusted these guys to cut a hole in my roof at all. It was almost laughable how much they did not give a shit. Now two weeks later I haven't received a completed estimate or even received a call. We feel like we dodged a bullet and dont usually leave reviews but wanted to do so here to save someone else the headache. Go with someone else. We found an excellent radon mitigation company and couldn't be happier with the results.

Had an appointment with Greg, he decided to add another appointment prior to mine and didnt notify me of schedule change. Would not recommend if owner of a company cannot schedule correctly and call customers and advise them of change then I'm not sure he can run a company properly. He has yet to date, two weeks.later call to apologize for he screw up.

I contacted RRS after a home inspection found radon levels above EPA guidelines. I noted to them that this was for a real estate transaction and I was somewhat pressed for time for mitigation and to perform another test. Greg immediately came out for a site visit and advised me of the work in order to assure levels below 4.0. Phil came out within days and re did the existing sub-slab suction point that was improperly installed by the builder, and tied in a second suction point across the basement. Going into the week of the scheduled closing, Greg came to my home on a Sunday morning to start the 48 test to ensure I had results by the closing date. Radon levels were reduced from nearly 10 pCi/L down to 0.4 pCi/L. Customer service and professional knowledge is second-to-none, I would recommend RRS for any radon mitigation issues you have.

I have to agree with the vast majority of reviewers here about the excellent service we received from Radon Removal Systems. Prior to the installation, Greg, the owner, came by and gave us a thorough explanation of how the system works and what would be involved in our installation if we chose to move forward. He patiently addressed all our concerns with thoughtful, cogent responses. He also did a wonderful job keeping the drama low. After the levels in our basement tested above the recommended 4 picocuries, we became very concerned, as we had been living in our house for quite a number of years. He was very reassuring about our particular situation (unlike some of the other companies who immediately tried to instill fear and panic). Within 48 hours of installation our levels dropped to nearly 0. We are more than happy with the work Radon Removal Systems did for us.
