The reviewer also wrote that the third-party air conditioning installation was delayed about three weeks after completion, and that a furnace connection took three months to resolve because the manufacturer had not supplied the correct conversion-kit part. In a March 2025 review, a customer wrote that she and her husband went 73 days from tearing their old house down to moving in. In a March 2023 review, a customer wrote that the crew delivering, setting up and finishing their home were quick to take care of a couple of small things that were wrong. In an April 2026 Google review, a customer wrote that shingles kept coming off their roof despite paying for hurricane nailing, that people were sent a few times to fix it, and that after a fifth call asking for a new roof, the company never got back to them. In May 2025 a customer wrote that many shingles installed by Ralph's crew slid off within the first two years, that the company blamed the manufacturer, and that they hired another contractor to reinstall that section. An October 2024 reviewer also wrote that shingles keep coming off the roof. In a June 2022 review, a customer wrote that a window broken in delivery six months earlier was still not fixed, along with a missing door and an incorrect order.

“I've seen Ralph's Homes in Waldoboro sometimes lists their homes on land they buy. A package deal.”

Overall great experience with everyone at Ralph’s! Love to work with local family businesses. We were planning and building our house in Maine while we were still living in Georgia. Forrest coordinated everything with their recommended site construction company (also highly recommend!) throughout the entire process. He also helped with town permits and other contractors that we needed. This “single point of contact” situation was invaluable due to the fact that we could not be on site during the process! Can’t say enough about the personalized service we received from Forrest throughout the entire process! Angel was great as well! She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the process of selecting options. (Take her advice about not installing carpet!). She also was a great point of contact when Forrest was busy and clearly kept everyone on their toes. As expected, the house finished about 3 weeks later than scheduled, but the entire Ralph’s crew worked long hours the final week to have everything completed by our arrival date. The service crew - especially Jeff! - were great. We had several immediate things to be fixed (mostly tightening water & drain piping) and Jeff was there the next day to fix the problem. The few other warranty items that we had later on were taken care of as well. A couple specific items took longer than they should have to resolve, but they weren’t totally in Ralph’s control. The 3rd party air conditioning installation (included as part of Ralph’s scope of supply) was delayed about 3 weeks after the completion of the house, which unfortunately coincided with the hottest week of the summer in Maine. And the propane company couldn’t complete the connection to the furnace because the manufacturer hadn’t supplied the correct part in the conversion kit. This took 3 months to get resolved, but fortunately it was during the summer when we didn’t need the furnace. Again, overall a great experience with Ralph’s! We would highly recommend them for your mobile home purchase!
Shingles keep coming off my roof even though j paid for hurricane nailing. They’ve probably sent started coming over almost as soon as I moved in. They sent people over a few times to “fix” the problem. But here we are 6 years later and it’s still one issue. I asked for a new roof after I called them for the fifth time. They never got back to me. Don’t do business with them unless you want to buy a new roof within 5 years of living in the home
Rude staff, treated like a criminal for looking at the homes. Won’t be buying from here.
Many shingles installed by Ralph's Crew slid off the roof within The first 2 years. I contacted Ralph's and all I got was a run around. They claimed it was the manufacture who was responsible. I explained only the shingles they installed came off. I ended up hiring a contractor to reinstall the bad section of roof.
No pressure and trustworthy. Would recommend
