RB Farina Roofing Co

RB Farina Roofing is an Arlington roofing company with 4.8 stars from 583 Google ratings and BBB accreditation. Its Massachusetts HIC license 174723 is active on the state registry. BBB shows four complaints, and graded the company A in July 2026 and A+ in September 2026. June 2026 customers describe a mix of full roofs and exterior repairs: a roof replacement for a fair price, a very steep roof, roof and ridge vents installed by Kevyn and his team, and gutter, fascia and soffit replacement. In May 2026, a customer with a historic Craftsman house described replacing rotten wooden gutters, and in July 2026 another praised a roof deck. Reddit commenters in 2023 and 2024 mentioned the company's roofs and trucks around town. A June 2026 reviewer said Farina quoted $1,600 for a roof repair another roofer did for $650. In April 2026, a customer said a roof contracted in October stalled in permitting, updates were scarce while invoice reminders were not, and they hired an independent inspector after being told the job was done. Another April 2026 reviewer said about 100 nails holding the roof sheathing had been missed, so the company had to take off the whole roof and redo it, and that paid-for plywood was thrown away. Leftover nails come up too: a May 2026 customer said nails left around the house punctured a tire, and in a July 2024 review a customer said nails left on the property flattened several cars' tires and the crew broke a window. A March 2026 customer said the crew damaged the stones in their parking lot and the company would not take responsibility or cover the repair despite repeated follow-ups. In a July 2023 review, a customer said a ridgeline the company replaced that April was torn apart within three months, and calls about it went unreturned or were hung up.
