Alyssa Gager-McQuaid works as a realtor with Purple Finch Properties, based in Nashua, New Hampshire, handling both home purchases and sales across the Nashua area — Amherst and Milford, New Hampshire both come up repeatedly in her clients' accounts. Fifty-eight reviews span 2022 through this year, and every one of them is five stars. The specifics repeat across years of clients rather than just the adjectives. One buyer got an offer accepted, inspection intact, after only a week of viewing houses in a competitive market. In a 2023 review, a client describes buying a property in Amherst from out of state, walking it over video chat with the listing agent instead of touring in person. In a 2022 review, another client describes an accepted offer on a multi-family investment property during the pandemic, plus a separate off-market lead she found on a second property. More recently, she's sold an inherited family home for one client, handled a simultaneous sale-and-purchase for another in a 2025 review, and, per a 2026 review, was hired by a couple months after they met her presenting at an NH Housing first-time-homebuyer class. The pattern across all 58 reviews, recent and years back, is the same: first-time buyers navigating an unfamiliar process, repeat and referred clients, and not one negative review among them. For anyone buying or selling around Nashua — especially a first-time buyer — that's a long, consistent track record to work from.
Alyssa is incredible! She was extremely informative and responsive throughout the entire house-hunting process, from our first interested inquiries to our final closing day! I especially appreciated her swift response to our many, many questions. Alyssa was amazing at making sure we were informed but not overwhelmed while looking for a house. She hopped on calls with us in order to help navigate offers and offered resources to help with our move. She made sure we understood each step of the house-hunting journey and we thank her so much for her help in finding our first home! I'd recommend working with her to anyone looking to purchase their first or fifth home!
If you are a first-time homebuyer, you NEED to have Alyssa as your realtor! My wife and I met Alyssa when she presented at a NH Housing homebuyer class we attended, and we hired her as our realtor a few months later, when we started our house search in May 2026. Alyssa is honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. As first-time homebuyers, she took the time to explain every part of the process to us and always answered our questions thoroughly and quickly. It was so helpful knowing she was always just a text away to walk us through how to make an offer, the best terms to offer, what the closing process would look like, etc. She also hooked us up with some of her incredible contacts in the field for our inspection and title/closing agency. Her connections made the post-offer acceptance process smooth and painless, as she got us scheduled with the inspector right away and made sure the title agent reviewed the deed with us and confirmed there were no complications. We feel like she always went above and beyond for us, keeping our best interests in mind. Throughout this process, my husband and I continually said that hiring Alyssa was the best thing we did. With her help, we bought our home in July 2026, and it is perfect for us! We would highly recommend Alyssa to anyone we know who is looking to buy/sell their home—you won’t regret it!
Alyssa is a wonderful realtor to work with. My husband and I bought our first home with her and got our first offer accepted with inspection after only a week of viewing houses beating out other offers. She’s very responsive, kind, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her!
Working with Alyssa was an absolute dream! From day one, she felt less like just our realtor and more like a trusted friend who genuinely cared about our future. As first-time homebuyers, the process could have easily felt overwhelming, but Alyssa made us feel completely supported every step of the way. What we appreciated most was how intentional she was. No matter how many questions we threw her way, she always answered them with patience, kindness, and incredible insight. She really knows her stuff! Alyssa was always available to meet us for showings at a moment's notice, and her communication was truly amazing. We never felt left in the dark on anything and she sent friendly reminders along the way. We are so incredibly grateful for her dedication, sharp strategy, and huge heart. She recognizes these big moments and helps you celebrate them by things like taking fun family photos at your final walkthrough! We can’t recommend her enough, especially to anyone navigating the homebuying journey for the first time! Work with Alyssa, you won’t regret it!! I
In the fall of 2023, I went to an open house in Amherst, New Hampshire where I was one of many folks touring all around inside the lovely New England home. Alyssa gave me her card which I kept for weeks until I called her to find us a home. Barely any active listings until I saw up in the Lakes Region in Grantham, one home for sale. I met her at her Purple Finch office downtown Nashua with its adorable decor. The drive was about 1 hr and 20 minutes one way. Alyssa gladly drove me with my two dogs several times until we closed. It was winter with deep snow. But after just six months, I called her again to be our selling agent this time. More trips, a quick pending from our first showing. Every time, Alyssa made that long drive. Finally, Alyssa was there to help on our last day. With mop and broom, she helped us for our final walk through. I will always recall our parting as she helped my elderly husband into our car. Now, it is 2026 and we are good friends. She showed me wonderful support when my husband died in 2024. Sent me gifts and card which I have kept. I know if I decide to return to New England, Alyssa will be there with a hug and a greeting for my little dog. Thank you to a wonderful, caring friend and above all, a superlative agent.
