Thumbtack adds general carpentry and junk removal to that list and shows the business has been hired seven times through the platform, with four employees and the account background-checked under Matias Smalanskas. The customer record is very thin, and what exists is a complaint. In September 2025 a Thumbtack customer who hired the company for a basement renovation wrote that the signed agreement projected seven to ten days, that on day seven the job was rushed to a finish and declared done, and that asking for an extra day drew what they described as an unprofessional attitude from the owner. The company answered publicly, saying the scope of work had been itemised and signed and that flooring, extra light fixtures and wall paneling were included at no additional charge. That single review is the platform's whole rating. On the other side, a Harvard neighbour named the firm — as "RHI in Clinton" with its phone number — when a Bolton resident asked a Nextdoor thread in May 2025 for someone to maintain a gravel road, which is a referral but not an account of work done. Three sources give three different ages for the business: the company's own site points to 2005, HomeAdvisor says nineteen years of experience, and Thumbtack says ten. The two directories also contradict each other on estimates, with the website inviting a no-charge estimate while HomeAdvisor's FAQ states the company does not offer free ones. This is a reasonable call for a realtor or seller who wants one crew to clear, patch, paint and skip-haul a property before listing, and the Spanish-speaking staff HomeAdvisor notes may matter to some households. Before signing, get the scope itemised in writing with a dated completion target and confirm whether the estimate is free, since the sources disagree and the one detailed complaint on file is about exactly that timeline question.
