Red Oak Tree Service LLC.

Red Oak Tree Service LLC takes down trees, trims branches and grinds stumps. A recent customer said Chris and his team took down a large spruce, a large dead maple, two smaller pine trees and a large juniper bush, plus stump grinding, and that Red Oak's pricing was the best of about 10 quotes. The company's website lists a service area that includes Easton, Ridgefield, Hamden, Milford, Litchfield and West Hartford. A recent customer had four trees removed and large branches trimmed, then had Red Oak back to remove a massive branch, and said the final price was the same as the estimate. A recent customer said they cut some huge branches directly over the power lines to the house without damaging the lines. Within 48 hours of signing the agreement, they took down a tree struck by lightning, a recent customer wrote, and cleaned up and disposed of the debris afterward. A recent customer who had branches trimmed away from the house said the crew put down plywood to protect the lawn. A customer who had 8 trees removed in a forest with difficult access said they were careful not to damage special bushes and trees. In a 2025 review, a customer described the removal of more than 40 trees, many of them oaks 60 to 100 feet tall, some close to the house, with branches often lowered one by one. That 2025 customer said Chris walked the property and took notes, and that the well, geothermal lines, propane lines and septic on the property required special care. A 2025 review from Sepe Farm said the top of a tall pine snapped off in a wind storm and lodged on the tree next to it, and that Red Oak came on a below-freezing day to remove that tree and nine others. A 2023 customer said Chris and his team held back some wood for burning at the customer's request and stacked the cut logs.
