I would hire Micaiah and Nicholas again in a heartbeat. They repaired--and ultimately rebuilt--two exterior facades on our 1770s Cape foundation. Micaiah is a conscientious communicator, and not only did the work exceed our expectations, it was completed on time, according to schedule, for the agreed-upon price. Mind blown. Tradesmen worth their salt are a rare breed, I have discovered. True craftsman, even more so. Professional, skilled, friendly--what more can you want? If you've read this far, you already know you want to hire Renewed Colonial. Just do it!
I had repointing done on my foundation, and Micaiah had Nick come out to take care of the project. I was very happy with the professionalism.. the care that Nick and Micaiah took in informing about the materials and methods used to complete the job. I learned a ton about my house, and about how to care for it.
We had Renewed Colonial tuck point our stone foundation, replace two failing brick portions with block, and a few other foundation maintenance/repairs for our older house built in the 1880s. The stone looks so good with the mortar filled in flush with the stone! We’re very happy and relieved to have our failing brick portions replaced and fixed. Micaiah was super knowledgeable about older houses such as ours and definitely cares about helping people repair and maintain older foundations. I’d recommend Renewed Colonial!
Reached out to Micaiah about a property my fiancé and I were looking to buy and wanted a professional inspection prior to submitting an offer. The level of detail Micaiah put into the inspection in addition to the time he dedicated to speaking with us about the repairs and his approach far exceeded our expectations...you can truly tell that his work is his passion. Would highly recommend Renewed Colonial and Micaiah for any work you're considering on your home. Very professional and in tune with his work.
I am so grateful and feel so lucky to have been able to work with Micaiah on the foundation repair of my 1860s farmhouse. It was a very complex job that Micaiah managed beautifully. He was flexible, creative, thoughtful, and careful. The finished work will outlast us all. So fortunate to have been able to put my home in the hands of this master craftsman.
