That is the pattern across the reviews — awkward, heavy, unglamorous removal work that people want gone in a day.

For an estate or senior-move cleanout, a basement or garage that has got away from you, or one bulky item that nobody else wants to take, this is a reasonable call. Get the quote in writing and confirm what disposal is included before the truck arrives.

I've known Stephen for a long time so my review may be a little biased. He has always been a soft spoken and hard working individual. Who always tries to go above and beyond. So I knew exactly who to call when I needed a job done.
My mother needed to clean out a few rooms in her house. She has a habit of being a mild hoarder. So things tend to pile up. I was able to receive a good quote on the three rooms that needed to be cleared.

The house was occupied by a 94 and 83 year old couple, who had lived there for 60 years. This team not only worked with speed and efficiency, they did so professionally and with a team that was truly a pleasure to be with. Chris was supportive and helpful throughout the planning process; Steve managed all the details and inevitable surprises that came up during the clean out with care and good solutions; Shane was a kind and effective team lead who did a fabulous job; and the crew of college kids they had with them had a work ethic rarely seen in that age group. They were polite, calm, strong, and I don't think I ever saw them stop working. They were all a pleasure to be around. This company really made things easy for us as we put things on the curb to donate, and also as we managed getting old blinds down, rugs up, etc. and they are coming back to do a deep clean of the house. They even helped us move things into storage that we needed to get out of the house. I cannot recommend them enough, and you will find their pricing to be very fair and competitive. Highly, highly recommend.
I can't say enough great things about Chris and Residential Cleanouts. Their team is by far the best experience I've had with junk pickup, but movers in general. Chris was responsive, easily to schedule, highly professional and friendly. In our case, the pickup happened to occur during a bunch of snow, but that was no problem as Chris and team arrived on time, ensuring existing furniture was cleared before the new arrived. Chris was meticulous and thoughtful about being very careful when moving out our couch, putting down mats do ensure zero damage to our hardwood floors.
