A boiler broke and flooded the carpet on Jan 18th. In a March 2026 Google review, the customer wrote that Blake and his team of RestoPros of New Haven were at the house within 1 hour with equipment, moved the furniture, took meter readings each time they checked progress, and handled the process with the insurance company. The Prospect, Connecticut company does water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire and smoke damage restoration and rebuilds, according to its site, and holds 5 stars from 57 Google ratings. Its Connecticut HIC license is active. The site lists 24/7 emergency service and free estimates. Blake and Nate also work the insurance side. An October 2026 reviewer with an unusually difficult insurance claim wrote that Nate and Blake guided them through it. In a September 2025 review, a customer wrote that the insurance company turned uncooperative at a point and Blake was there to help. A September 2026 reviewer gave 4 stars: the basement rebuild took some time, but after Blake met with the insurer, the cost and what the insurance company would pay fell pretty much in line. In a February 2025 review, a customer wrote that Blake inspected water in the ductwork and a bathroom floor where the toilet overflowed, did not charge for the inspection, said he was not concerned about mold under the tiles rather than tear the floor up, and left an air mover overnight at no cost. Rebuilds follow the cleanup too: an August 2025 customer wrote that Iram and his team rebuilt their kitchen, and an October 2026 reviewer said a burst pipe brought the team the same day, with items moved to a storage locker and Nick to manage the restoration.
I cannot say enough about the crew that came several times to work on my house. They all deserve to be praised. Nate, Craig and Tim were exceptional, very conscientious and did amazing work. I had an unusually difficult Insurance claim and both Nate and Blake literally guided me through it. I am eternally greatful. Blake, you should be very proud of your team. They have exceptional work ethic and do amazing work. I am going to recommend them to my HOA for future jobs. Thank you again. Linda
Exceptional response to aftermath of burst waterpipe. Restopros team arrived same day. Began cleanup procedures immediately under the watchful eye of Craig. Move-out of items to a storage locker was carefully and efficiently handled. Nate handled admin details seamlessly. Nick will manage restoration project. Highly recommend.
RestoPros from start to finish have been nothing short of amazing. Shout out to Nate, Tim, Dan and Craig! Not only are they knowledgeable but they are professional, thorough, kind and pleasant! I had to text Nate on a weekend ( I’m so sorry) and he responded immediately!!! ON A SUNDAY because one of the machines wasn’t functioning properly. Enter Craig- coming to my home on a Sunday and happy like he was invited over for Sunday dinner not a work call. He was so pleasant, polite and requested bringing in the replacement machine through a door where he didn’t have to trek through my home. They also were tremendously helpful navigating the insurance piece. I forgot to add Nate checked in on Saturday to see how things were! I know, right???!!! I’m sorry if you are reading this because something has happened to your home, business etc but these are the people to call! Thank you again.
Blake, Nate, Nick, and team were all very responsive and answered our many questions as they arose. We appreciated that they worked directly with our insurance company given the experience they have dealing with them. Although it took some time to complete the job, we are happy with our basement rebuild and are relieved that the cost of the job and what the insurance company was ultimately willing to pay (after Blake met with them to get on the same page) fell pretty much right in line. I am very happy with the work Resto pros did on my water damage. They were professional, courteous, and on time. this was an insurance claim.
