Revive General Contracting, LLC builds additions, decks, porches and finished basements. A 2024 customer hired it for a 16' x 42' addition on the rear of their home that moved the kitchen to a different part of the house and added a master bedroom with an attached bath. That 2024 customer said Revive was on the pricier end of the quotes they received, but Mike Kruse was the only one who listened to what they wanted. They said the construction could not have gone better and that delays were usually from waiting on supplies such as kitchen cabinets. In the same 2024 review, the customer said the plan did not include enough lights and the windows were not the quality they would have chosen, and advised talking through every utility in each space with Mike so that change orders and extra costs do not pile up. A 2025 customer named the owner, Mike Kruse, and project manager Brian Pham, and said Brian handled a few bumps with the stone supplier on modifications to their home. A 2024 customer said Revive built a covered roof over a basement walk-out to keep rainwater from overwhelming the drain, with zero drain issues through that summer's heavy rain. A 2024 customer said the company built a back deck and steps, and a 2023 customer said Revive finished their basement the winter before. A 2026 customer said the project was completed on schedule and the work area was kept clean. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0665202, held by REVIVE GENERAL CONTRACTING LLC, is active on the state registry. A citylifestyle.com piece has profiled Mike Kruse and his decision to start his own business.

I had a great experience with this general contractor. They were professional, reliable, and completed the project on schedule. The quality of work was excellent, and they paid close attention to every detail. Communication was smooth, and they kept the work area clean throughout. I’m very happy with the results and would highly recommend this contractor to anyone planning a home project. 🏠
Revive General Contracting, led by owner, Mike Kruse, and Project Manager, Brian Pham, exceeded our expectations for the modifications to our home. We had a few bumps with the stone supplier that Brian handled beautifully. The finished projects look so amazing, better than we envisioned! We’d recommend Revive General Contracting wholeheartedly!
We had a great experience with Revive General Contracting. Mike Kruse was the most responsive contractor when we were looking for someone to do an addition on our home. We wanted to add onto the rear of our home with a section that would be 16' x 42'. It would include moving our kitchen to a completely different part of our home, tie into existing living space, add a master bedroom and an attached bath. Revive was on the pricier end of the quotes we received, but Mike was the only one who listened to what we wanted and worked with us to make it happen in the plans. The only feedback we can think of throughout the planning process was the little details like lighting in each space, outlets, switches, window quality. As we went through the installation/construction, we had little surprises like the plan didn't include enough lights or the windows weren't the quality we would have chosen - sufficient, but we would have paid more to get better windows. Ultimately, if you haven't been through a renovation before, take your time when planning out each space. Think about all the utilities in that space (light, water, power, heat, air) and force yourself to talk through all of it with Mike so they can plan for it. Otherwise you will face change orders and extra costs throughout the project. We were too inexperienced to know better. Having said that, the construction could not have gone better. Lance, the project manager, and all the subcontractors were outstanding. Any delays to the overall project were not their fault, but usually waiting on supplies (kitchen cabinets were a big one). We had people in our home for over 3 months, but they were all clean, courteous and respectful. We are very happy with the quality of the install too. It was a very positive experience. Sorry that the pictures don't include furniture, but we are still trying to find the right pieces to fill our new space! FYI - I installed the closet shelving. I love the wire shelving systems at Home Depot so I said I would do that.
Revives Communication and attention to detail is unbeatable!!! Very nice people to work with. I would give them a 10 star if I could.
We used Revive to build our dream deck and they did a great job bringing our design “to life”. The team was really easy to work with and very responsive. Highly recommend!
