- Energy-efficient building — a 2015 Houzz reviewer praised Bob and his crew on it
R.H. Irving Homebuilders says it has specialized in high performance building practices since 1972, and its website puts the company at 54 years in business. On its Houzz profile the company describes itself as skilled in energy efficient and sustainable construction techniques, including super insulation, and the profile lists certifications as a Certified Passive House Consultant (PHIUS) and Certified Green Builder (NAHB). In a 2015 Houzz review, a reviewer who had worked with the company on a number of efficiency projects for residential housing and remodeling in New Hampshire said Bob and his crew were among the few contractors "who get it" about building for energy efficiency and durability. In a 2019 Reddit comment, a commenter pointed another user to RH Irving Co. Homebuilders in Salisbury NH. The local site greenenergytimes.org has carried a headline that R.H. Irving HomeBuilders won a first place award.
