Ricci's Painting & Contracting is a New Hampshire company that's grown well past just painting -- though painting is still where it started and where the bulk of its 112 reviews live. Owner Bruno Ricci is named directly in dozens of them, and the same details keep coming up: he shows up to quote in person, gives a clear and often competitive price, and stays in touch through the whole job. The painting work itself is described in real detail -- full exterior repaints with rotted wood and siding replaced first, interior jobs on cathedral ceilings, staining, and trim work singled out for care. Several reviewers specifically mention the crew cleaning up every single day, not just at the end of the job, and protecting landscaping and walkways from overspray. What's grown alongside that is a genuine remodeling business. Reviews describe full kitchen remodels with new cabinets and counters, bathroom renovations that pull in a plumber, electrician and tile installer under Ricci's coordination, a bedroom converted into a bathroom, and a basement finished from scratch. One long-time renovator, someone who says they've done significant work on multiple houses, called Ricci's among the best contractors they've hired, period. It isn't flawless. A July 2026 review said the customer had to keep flagging basic finishing issues -- caulking, paint that didn't quite match -- instead of the crew catching them on their own, which meant managing details that should have been handled proactively. And an August 2025 review described a good estimate visit that simply never led to a follow-up, with the company going quiet after explaining the scope of work. Those are two accounts out of a much larger, consistently detailed run of praise -- reviews that name specific crew members (Gil, Giovanni, Anderson, Miller, Jeff) for specific trades, describe real budgets and timelines being kept, and repeat the same throughline: organized, communicative, and careful with the finish work. For exterior or interior painting, or a remodel that needs several trades coordinated under one roof, this is a well-reviewed, high-volume operation across Google, HomeAdvisor, Angi and Thumbtack alike -- worth confirming who's on your specific crew and getting the finish-detail expectations (caulking, color matching, punch-list follow-up) spelled out up front.
The painters for Ricci’s were excellent - courteous, communicative, and thorough in their work. Their detail trim work is carefully executed. They replaced all siding that needed it, and left us with four beautifully painted houses!
Bruno’s crew spent a week and a half painting my house, and they were so amazing! They were hard working, polite, thoughtful, clean, and just all around pleasant throughout the entire project. Genuinely some of the nicest contractors I’ve worked with. Thank you for a job well done!
We could not be happier with the work that Ricci's did for us. We had our home stained, trim painted and our deck re-built. The crew was polite, efficient, hard working, detail oriented and cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day. Our home was looking tired and weathered and now it looks absolutely stunning. We highly recommend Bruno and his team and will absolutely reach out again for future projects.
Throughout the project, I had to repeatedly request corrections for basic finishing details including, caulking, and paint finish matching. I felt like I had to manage the final details myself rather than having them addressed proactively. I had to point out and request correction of a gap/hole in the wall behind the refrigerator that should have been caught during the work. There was also grout left stuck to the floor behind my stove from the backsplash. After the project was completed and paid in full, I discovered a cabinet door issue. The soft-close hinge was not functioning properly, and the hinge mounting hole had stripped, causing the door to be misaligned. I requested solid wood cabinets because I wanted to avoid issues like this.
We had a great experience with Bruno and his team. He was referred by our neighbors, and undeniably lived up to that recommendation. He communicated with us throughout the process, had reasonable pricing, and was very accommodating when we added a few last-minute change orders. In addition to the painting, he handled extensive exterior repairs and contracting work that our 150+ year old home desperately needed. It is now stunning! We used “Bracing Blue” for the body, “Naval” for the door, shutters, and decorative trim, and “Extra White” for the window trim and soffits. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire Bruno again and highly recommend him.
