RICHIE'S ROOFING LLC

A recent Google customer of Richie's Roofing shopped over five different roofing companies and said three of them were very pushy. Richie inspected the 24-year-old roof and told them it looked pretty good and might get a few years out of it; that customer came back a year later for the replacement and said it only took one day. On its website the company says it has been in business 13 years and lists Ridgefield, New Milford, Danbury and Greenwich among its service towns. A 2024 customer with a water spot on a top-floor ceiling said Richie picked up the first call, showed up the next day, found the issue, texted pictures and came back the next day to fix it before the next storm. That 2024 customer later went ahead with a new roof and said they did the full tear-off, replaced some rotted plywood, installed ice shield, shingled the whole house, added copper around the chimney and put up the gutters all in one day. A 2025 customer said Rich opened and closed all permits, that Marcos ran the large crew, and that the roof was completed in one day. A 2023 reviewer who said they have been a house builder in MA for 45 years wrote that a lake house roof in New Fairfield went on in one day, with custom copper flashings around the chimney and a rotted section of siding replaced. A 2026 customer said Rich came right over and fixed a roof issue the same day, and that after a blizzard they cleaned the snow and ice off an ice dam. A 2021 customer who bought a Newtown home with a roof Richie's company had installed said repeated calls and texts about an installation issue went unanswered, and that after an inspection and word that parts had come in, they had not seen or heard from him since. A 2019 BuildZoom reviewer said a leak around the chimney started after the roof replacement and that Rich would no longer return calls. A 2023 Google reviewer complained of noise from outdated equipment and harassment of residents. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0641732, as active, held by Richie's Roofing LLC.
