What a great experience ! Very professional and friendly too. Always on time. Added on a few things as the kitchen project went along and was added on without a problem. Would definitely recommend Marllon and Jared. If we have any other projects we’d call them first.

My review might be a little long, but since Thanksgiving is around the corner I wanted to say how much I appreciate and thankful for Marllon and Jared from Rright Angle Carpentry for everything they have helped me with at the house Marllon and Jared came into my life, like two long lost brothers I needed during a moment when I started feeling overwhelmed, trying my best to carry responsibilities I never expected to face alone. After my dad passed away suddenly, my son and I moved into my childhood home to help my elderly mom. My dad built the house 55 years ago , he loved his home, it is a place with so many memories, projects, and love — and my dad took care of every inch of it. After losing him, and having already lost my brother, it became just me, and my mom trying to hold everything together. I felt lost staring at everything that needed fixing, updating, or saving. I reached out on Angie’s List about repairing the roof on our gazebo in the backyard — a place my dad cherished. A tranquil place where you could find him watching the Patriots or Red Sox, or he would love to play his old school country or Jimmy Buffet as we would sip on our grand gold margaritas. It could also be a quiet, zen-like place , sitting out there quietly and listen to the wind chimes and nature that surrounds their home. My dad made that screened-in gazebo part of our family’s life with many memories out there, I really wanted to save it and bring it back to life. The gazebo roof was awful and I wasn’t sure it would have lasted another winter which is why I needed to find someone I could trust to replace this roof. Marllon replied the same day and made appt for the next morning for him to assess. Marllon arrived exactly when he said he would, listened as I anxiously talked about not only the gazebo but the many other things I needed to do as I looked around the property, and he patiently listened to all I had to say and didn’t just brush me off. He treated the home and my story with respect, He got back to me the same day with a reasonable quote for the gazebo roof and I instantly hired them. Marllon and Jared got rid of the old roof and put up a whole new one that came out beautiful! They did such a great job in a relatively short amount of time. I was very impressed! They also fixed a major drainage issue that had been happening for a while , causing water to get into a the basement after every heavy rain. They put in a drain system and a retaining wall , that came out amazing, and it helped solve a problem that had been ongoing for quite awhile that was constantly on my mind worried about what to do about it and not knowing anything about how to fix it . I also mentioned to them that I also wanted to get the basement ceiling insulated and they got someone to complete it in one day! They also did an amazing job repairing all the trim on my dad’s old shed , a place my dad would be in snd out of constantly through out the day — and it came out looking so good! As a single/divorced woman and mom suddenly responsible for the upkeep of an older home and property, trust to me is everything. Marllon and Jared were easy to talk to , they’re honest, genuine, and never once pressured me and never asked for a deposit, telling me upfront what everything would cost that never changed. They didn’t just fix/repair things; they made me feel like I wasn’t alone trying to protect and restore the home my dad loved so much. I already have plans for them to return in the spring for a few more projects, and wouldn’t think of calling anyone else.
