A bedroom addition finished in 2025 blends with the house seamlessly, the homeowner wrote — and they noticed the small decisions, the window placement and a pocket door. That is the work Touchstone is hired for: additions and rooms rebuilt so they read as original. The Foxborough company is owned and run by Jose DaSilva, handling residential remodels, additions and outdoor living projects around Norfolk County plus smaller commercial remodels, and its site claims 25 years in the trade. Bathrooms are the steady work. A remodel in August 2026; a bathroom plus four replacement windows in a January 2026 job on an old house, where the crew worked through things nobody could have foreseen and Jose was a constant presence; an extra bathroom added in December 2024; a bathroom addition built in October 2024. The larger jobs run to a garage addition in August 2026, a basement finished in February 2026, a three-bedroom rental unit renovated in June 2025, and an entryway, bathroom and sunroom added in spring 2025. Money comes up in a good way. A June 2025 client said DaSilva's quote was itemized cost by cost, so they could adjust as they went; a September 2025 laundry room job was clear on price and stayed on budget, and an October 2024 addition off a master bedroom came in on budget too. Jean, the project manager named in several reviews, is who customers credit with catching and fixing problems mid-job. A December 2025 reviewer got frequent updates with photos and videos. The counterweight sits on the company's BBB page, which carries two customer reviews. One is positive; the other says the six-to-eight-week delivery they were promised did not hold. If your project has a date attached to it — a move-in, a rental turnover, a school year — get the schedule in writing along with the quote. One more thing to sort out yourself: the site and Angi both say 25 years of experience, while the BBB page puts the business at five years operating, and Angi lists it as formerly Transblue Norfolk. Its site lists a construction supervisor licence, CS-094088, and home improvement contractor registration #201093, and the BBB page lists the same two numbers. The BBB grades it A+ without accrediting it. For an addition or a full bathroom rebuild around Foxborough — especially if you want itemized pricing and the owner on site — Touchstone is a strong fit. Ask for the line-item quote before you sign, and pin down the finish date and what happens if it moves.
We selected Touchstone to build an addition on our garage. From the start, we found Jose to be very genuine, communicative and an excellent thought partner. What we were most impressed by was Jose's consistent communication and his ability to manage all the moving parts of this build. This was no easy task, getting a surveyor for the permit, aligning inspectors every step of the way, excavation equipment, foundation crew, framing crew, electricians, garage door installs, etc., he orchestrated the timing of all of it extremely well. We are very happy with the finished product and would highly recommend Jose and his crew! We will absolutely turn to Touchstone for future projects!

We recently had our basement finished by Touchstone General Contractor and we could not be more pleased with their workmanship, attention to detail and customer service. Jose and his team were excellent and really spent the time to understand our vision and needs from the first proposal visit through construction. He communicated any issues encountered and had solutions ready to present to us for to keep the project moving forward. They finished ahead of schedule and took all the hassle of permits, inspections and deliveries off our hands. We solicited quotes from multiple contractors, but were blown away with the attention to detail for every aspect of the job, especially with the detail provided in their proposal to understand exactly what each task costs (something most contractors do not do!). We would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to have work done on their homes and are already looking for our next project to complete with Touchstone!

Jose and crew did an outstanding job of doing over our bathroom and replace four windows. Our house is old and everyone did a great job of working through unanticipated things (that really could not have been forseen). Jose was a constant presence and does a great job of talking to his clients and his crew, keeping everyone in synch. This is a very hard working group that cares about what the customer wants. We are very happy with the outcome of both bathroom remodel and window replacement and highly recommend Touchstone to anyone looking for home renovation or addition.
