In a December 2025 review, a customer wrote that they pay $72 a month for bi-weekly service, that the company had not missed a pickup once, and that booking by phone took less than 10 minutes after the online form went unanswered. In June 2024 a reviewer who rented a roll-off wrote that it showed up on schedule and the driver placed it exactly where they wanted it. A 2026 Reddit commenter on r/Maine wrote that Riverside rents dumpsters for reasonable prices, offers weekly or bi-weekly pickup, and comes to their house about an hour away; a 2024 Reddit commenter quoted $35 a month for weekly pickup of 1–5 bags. In October 2022 a reviewer wrote that after a Riverside truck destroyed their mirror on the road, the company had a new mirror on their truck within 48 hours. In August 2026 a reviewer wrote that they were told one price and charged $150 more. In March 2026 a reviewer wrote that they paid for February but their trash was never picked up, with a message that the road wasn't plowed after about 2 inches of snow. In a January 2024 review, a customer wrote that they had spent over $5000 in two weeks on dumpsters with the company, that their card kept being charged for dumpsters that were not delivered, and that the person who answered the phone yelled at them and hung up. In February 2024 a reviewer wrote that numerous times the truck drove by without picking up the trash, that an adamant rude woman on the phone said they hadn't put it out, and that the company kept charging after they switched providers. In a September 2023 review, a customer who rented a dumpster after selling their home wrote that Riverside brought the wrong one, put it in the wrong place and overcharged them after leaving debris on the driveway. In November 2021 a reviewer wrote that one of the company's trucks tried to merge into them on the road.
