In a July 2026 Google review, a customer says a sofabed that would not fit through the camp's littler-than-usual doors went upstairs anyway: Nate and Dom took it apart, moved it upstairs in pieces and put it back together, then took the old sofabed away. Don's Moving & Storage is based in Augusta, Maine, and Google shows 5 stars from 361 ratings. In October 2026, a reviewer said Don and his crew moved everything out of the home their in-laws had lived in for 44 years, with many large pieces of furniture and small breakable items, and that Don reported each day what had been done and what was planned next. A May 2026 customer under a time crunch said Don stored their belongings for a few days between moving out and closing on a new home and added a third truck when needed. In March 2026 a reviewer said Don and his team helped move their 91-year-old mother, and in April 2026 Don and Nate handled the back end of a reviewer's move from North Carolina to Maine. In October 2026 a customer called Don on a Monday, and he made arrangements for a small move the very next day; an August 2026 reviewer said Don moved them on short notice for exactly what he quoted. In a June 2026 review, a customer whose helpers canceled at the last minute before a POD arrived said Don could not take the job right away but contacted other moving companies on their behalf and offered to squeeze them in a couple of days later; some family members stepped in to finish the move. In September 2026 a reviewer called the pricing fair, and an August 2026 reviewer said Don is fairly priced. A May 2026 reviewer said they charge less than others in the area, and a February 2026 customer said a date change due to the carpet installer came without extra charge. In a November 2024 review, Don and Ethan pushed an armoire up and over a staircase railing when it could not make the turn, and in January 2024 a reviewer's employer used Don's to move an office from Brunswick to Gardiner, with in-home packing by Tina. In April 2024 an r/maine commenter said they had good luck twice with the company.

Nate, Dominic, and Don were very helpful and professional. They were prompt and moved my furniture carefully without damaging anything. Thank you all so much!
Don and his crew did a fantastic job moving everything out of the home my in-laws lived in for 44 years. They arrived promptly, were organized, courteous, and careful. Don was very good at communicating what had been accomplished each day and what was planned for the following days. I really cannot say enough that in addition to being very professional, everyone on the team was kind - a move like this can be filled with emotions, and the team understood and was respectful. This was a complicated move (many large pieces of furniture and many small easily breakable items), and we were lucky to have them.
