When the well quits, this is who Sandy Hook homeowners call. A recent customer who keeps horses said Rob installed a new well pump only a few hours after the call. Rob Rozz Well & Pump Service says on its website that it is based in Sandy Hook, serves Monroe, Southbury, Newtown and neighboring communities, and has been in business 30 years. Tom and Joe replaced a well pump for a recent customer, refilled the neutralizer and replaced a valve. Rob and Tom replaced a well tank for a recent customer, who said they communicated everything along the way. A 2025 customer said Tom and Kyle dug up the well and replaced a submersible pump at a 220-foot depth, and the water was back by the end of that day. The plumbing side is just as busy. Chris diagnosed and fixed a recent customer's bathroom toilet and also stopped a leak coming from the kitchen sink. A recent customer said Chris had the whole sink piping setup done in a little over a half hour. Robb and his team installed a Rheem ProTerra heat pump water heater for a recent customer in place of an oil-fired one, then removed the debris and left the place clean. Emergencies get answered at odd hours. A recent reviewer whose well water stopped at about 11 PM on a Friday said Rob returned the call at 12:30 AM, arrived at 5:45 AM and resolved the issue in about 30 minutes. A recent customer who placed an emergency call said a plumber was dispatched within 30 minutes. In a 2024 review, a customer said Chris and Kyle had a new water heater installed and running the day after a 75-gallon unit gave out at night. A recent customer waited two and a half weeks for an appointment, then learned the day before that they were not on the schedule and was offered a date three weeks later. A 2024 customer said the problems were fixed but called the bill extremely costly, citing $600 for two hours of labor and $300 for a carbon filter, and said a large hole was left in the kitchen ceiling.
They were able to come on short notice. Always knowledgeable and helpful. Everything was explained clearly and the guys are both polite and personable. Highly recommended.
Diagnosed the problem right away, had the components in the truck and fixed the problem in short time. Friendly as well as professional.
Rob and his team are highly skilled, friendly and easily explain all aspects of their efforts.
Rob and his team are great. They've helped us out many times and the work is always performed at the highest level. They're completely transparent as to what needs to be done and why, the options, and pricing, which has always been more than reasonable given the quality of work and professionalism. I have no reservations recommending them for any job.
Rob Rozz and his team are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and reasonably priced. I have used Rob’s services on several occasions, and I would particularly like to highlight two experiences that demonstrate his integrity, expertise, and commitment to customer satisfaction. First Experience – Honest Advice and Cost Savings When I moved into my home in 2016, it required considerable work. I initially contacted another company, whose estimate was exorbitantly high and included replacing fittings and equipment that I, even as a consumer, knew were unnecessary. I then called Rob. After inspecting the issues, it was immediately apparent that he knew exactly what he was talking about. He provided an honest assessment and a reasonable estimate. Rather than recommending expensive replacements, he identified opportunities to repair and replace only the necessary components, saving me considerable money. Needless to say, he completed the work for less than the other company's quoted price. Second Experience – Exceptional Service in an Emergency On another occasion, I was hosting a family gathering at my home on a Saturday, with several guests expected to stay overnight. At approximately 11 PM on Friday night, my water supply suddenly stopped. Since my home relies on well water, this was a major emergency, especially with guests arriving the following morning. In a panic, I started calling every company I could find through Google, including Rob. Very few returned my calls, and the only company willing to come the next morning offered a 9 AM appointment, which was too late as I needed to drive to the airport to pick up guests. Rob returned my call at 12:30 AM. After listening to the problem, he clearly explained the possible causes and reassured me. He showed up at my home at 5:45 AM, quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue in approximately 30 minutes, and charged me a very reasonable amount. What impressed me most was that, despite knowing I was in a desperate situation, he never attempted to take advantage of the emergency. Rob's team members, including Kyle, are equally knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Rob and his team for any well-water or plumbing needs. Their technical expertise, honesty, responsiveness, and fair pricing make them a rare find in today's service industry.
