Farmington Valley Plumbing holds a 4.9-star Google average across 1,234 ratings. The company says it has been in business for eight years, and it lists a service area running from East Granby and Simsbury to Hartford, Manchester and Enfield. A recent customer had three new faucets installed, one in the kitchen and one in each of two bathrooms, and said Zach showed up on time and worked quickly and cleanly. Keith and Sam installed a water heater for one recent customer, who called them fast and friendly. A recent customer with a leaking shower faucet inside a wall with no access door said they arrived within an hour and, in two hours total, cut an access door, replaced the old faucet, mixer valve and trim, and added two new ball valves for shut-offs. A recent customer with an emergency gas line repair said they got a text alert with the estimated arrival time and the repair was completed quickly. A 2025 customer said Jeff went over budget, needs and design for a bathroom remodel and took care of every detail, with the home's only shower out of use for about 36 hours. A 2025 customer said Ricky cleaned a ductless unit and outdoor condenser at half the price of the company that installed the units. A recent 2-star review describes a town inspector finding a new water heater placed too close to the electrical panel and failing the inspection, and a sump pump trench that left a mud path for months; that customer said the company came back to correct the issues. A recent customer who had already removed the toilet and rusty flange said there was no reduction in cost. A 2025 customer said a toilet tank gasket was damaged during a pipe repair, and the options offered were a $1,000 toilet replacement or a $500 to $600 rebuild. Its Connecticut P1 plumbing licence, PLM.0287142-P1, is listed as active, held by Farmington Valley Plumbing.
“Had a good experience with Farmington Valley Plumbers. They came in literally thousands of dollars less than another company had quoted us.”
Excellent, prompt and professional service by Ryan. Highly recommend for any plumbing issues. Ryan went above and beyond his service yesterday, Oct. 12, and I am so grateful. Thank you!!
Ryan was prompt, courteous, and professional. He had the equipment needed for the job and was successful in giving us the information that we needed. Will continue to use and recommend.
Nolan is a true professional and exceeded our expectations to bring our remodeled townhouse up to code.
The quality and speed of the work were both very good. The plumber had two quotes ready before looking at the toilet bowl flange that needed to be replaced. I had already removed the toilet and the rusty flange, and the plumber said, you already removed the toilet and flange. Yet there was no reduction in cost. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was , I did some of the work with no reduction in cost.
Darick was prompt, kind and knowledgeable. I'm glad to have found FVP.
