Robert Evans Jr Contracting Inc

Robert Evans Jr Contracting is a Millis roofing company that Robert Evans Jr. has run since the early 1990s — his Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and BuildZoom's permit records put him in the top 10% of Massachusetts contractors by volume, with 299 permitted projects on file and 19 of the last four years' permits being roofing strip-and-reroof jobs across towns like Framingham, Brookline, Newton, and Weston. The written record is deep and remarkably consistent: 30 reviews on file dating back to 2016, every single one 5 stars, across Google and HomeAdvisor (which separately shows 53 reviews, also 100% five-star). The pattern that repeats year after year is speed and cleanliness — a full roof replacement finished in a single day with a thorough cleanup is the norm reviewers describe, not the exception, whether it's a modest residential reroof or, per a 2022 review, three residential roofs and two commercial rubber roofs (one over 13,000 square feet) for the same repeat customer. A 2026 review described working with team member Dan on a roof inspection and install, calling him knowledgeable and easy to work with; other reviews name Robert (Rob) himself showing up to quote jobs personally, arriving early, and explaining options like ice-dam prevention and ventilation in detail. Pricing comes up often too — several reviewers describe getting the lowest or most competitive of multiple quotes, with no upselling — and more than one review mentions returning to the company years later for a second project (a gazebo roof, a set of skylights) after a good first experience. Beyond roofing, the company's own site and directory listings describe siding, window, and seamless-gutter work alongside some general remodeling, though the detailed reviews on file are almost entirely about roofs. For a homeowner who needs a roof replaced, the record here is about as clean and well-documented as they come — same-day turnarounds, fair pricing, and a company that's been doing this in the same towns for over three decades.
