Rose Landscaping and Construction is an Arlington company built around one name: Nick Rose, a graduate of Arlington High School and Trinity College who says he started mowing lawns at 14 with his father's equipment and grew that into a full-service landscaping and masonry/construction business now serving Arlington and the surrounding towns. Nearly fifty Google reviews from 2022 through 2026 describe the same crew doing a wide range of work well. Winter reviews single out snow removal — driveways, sidewalks, and stairs cleared before homeowners leave for the day — with several people noting fair prices after years with costlier competitors. Warmer-season reviews describe sod installation, irrigation, mulching, spring and fall cleanups, tree installations handled carefully around existing plants, and hardscape projects including a stone walkway one customer calls carefully finished and a gravel base laid for a hot tub. Several clients say they've used the crew for three seasons or more — one notes three houses on the same street have since switched to Rose Landscaping, and another has used Nick across multiple properties since he was in college. One thing worth asking about before booking: Arlington's town government issued the company a noise abatement bylaw citation, and an appeal hearing was held on April 10, 2025; the record doesn't say how the hearing was resolved, so it's worth asking directly what the citation covered and how it was handled. For an Arlington-area homeowner wanting a personally run crew for weekly lawn care, seasonal cleanups, snow removal, or a hardscape project, the review history here is deep, current, and specific about the actual work rather than generic praise. Confirm current pricing and scheduling directly, and ask about the 2025 noise citation if it matters to you.

All in favor. Director Foley introduced the complaint and citation issued to Rose Landscaping and Construction LLC based on events at 165 Scituate St on April 10, 2025.
