We had the best experience with Joe at Rossmore Construction. We wanted a complete update of a very dated family room, from new walls to new floors to a new fireplace. He helped us come up with a plan and then managed the entire project. All of the contractors that came to our house were professional and very talented. He responded to our many texts and calls and stayed within the proposed budget. We can't wait to work with him again.

We contacted Joe at Rossmore Construction after a referral from an associate of ours. We wanted to demolish our existing Single Story Ranch & build a new 2-1/2 Story home on our existing lot in Needham. We wanted to keep as much of the original foundation & footprint as possible in order to stay within Zoning & budget restrictions. Joe and his team came by and we discussed various ways to design & build a new approx 4000 sqft Home to stay within budget as best as possible given the challenges of materials & lumber price increases during the pandemic. It definitely was challenging to stay within budget as the price of materials kept climbing but Joe helped us to navigate that through flexibility with various subcontractors and with scope options and creative ideas. We are really enjoying our new home now and very happy that we Contracted our project with Rossmore and wouldn't hesitate to work with Joe and his team again.

Joe and his team from Rossmore built us what was effectively a brand new ~900 square foot composite deck, including framing out and finishing the space needed to drop our hot tub into it. He was patient in spending time with us to make sure we decided on the best materials for our budget (Azek Mahogany decking and Index Hampton Railings in this case), "held our hand" in designing the appropriate layout, and stayed flexible when we learned that we needed to add an egress to our basement. Allowing for needed changes, the project came in near the original budget and on-time. We're considering a kitchen remodel and Joe will be our first call. He's personable, honest and hard working and we'd be happy to recommend him to our friends. The space turned out beautifully!

We were looking to hire someone to remove our deck and replace it with a larger one. We received 3 estimates including the estimate from Rossmore Carpentry. We decided to hire Rossmore Carpentry not only because the price was within our budget but because Joe Hackett explained, in detail, what they would do, the products they would be using, and where we could go to check out these products before installation. Where we decided to use a different product, they were very accommodating in getting the product. Their attention to detail was very much appreciated. Joe even explained, since our new deck would be longer than the longest piece of the flooring the manufacturer makes, he sent a sketch to show two options for installation. One with seams and one with framing the flooring into 2 sections. We went with the latter, and IT LOOKS GREAT!! We would highly recommend Rossmore Carpentry!!! We will definitely be using them again. Joe was excellent to work with. He answered all of my questions and explained everything. He rebuilt my deck with composite flooring and mahogeny rails. It looks great. His pricing was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Joe to friends and family.
