Tb Services Painting

A homeowner who had owned houses since the 80s wrote in a 2024 review that he had never seen prep work like it. That is what customers of TB Services Painting keep coming back to — what happens before the first coat goes on. The Weymouth company describes itself as family-owned, doing interior and exterior painting and carpentry across the South Shore and Metro West, and says it has been at it for more than a decade. Writing in June 2026, one homeowner described a quote request answered right away, an estimate scheduled around when they were free, and work starting sooner than they expected. Another, the same month, had an older house that had gone many years without paint and said it came back looking new. Tiago is the name in nearly every review, and people hire him again. A customer wrote in January 2025 that it was the third painting project he had done for them, and that he cleaned everything up daily before leaving. Another said in May 2025 they had worked with him multiple times on interior rooms; an interior designer wrote in October 2024 about using Tiago and his crew on many jobs, her own house included; and an August 2024 reviewer put their own history with the company at eight years. The work goes past walls and ceilings. In a 2024 review, a customer had cracked and buckled drywall seams fixed before any paint went on. Another 2024 review describes sanding stained hallway stairs, then painting the spindles, risers and side boards white and carrying on up the high stairwell walls. A 2021 customer had old wallpaper stripped and three rooms patched and repainted. Exterior jobs often come with pressure washing — a September 2025 customer had both done on schedule. The same habits show up early in the written history: in a 2019 Angi review, a customer described drop cloths over every floor, long days, and wall and ceiling problems fixed before painting so the finish came out right — and the job wrapping early enough for the floor finishers to start. The Better Business Bureau grades the company A-. Two things to settle before booking. Ask for an itemized labor-and-materials quote after the walkthrough — a 2023 customer got exactly that, and a 2022 customer's interior repaint came in with no charges beyond the estimate. And ask who will be on site: reviews describe Tiago alone, Tiago with an assistant, and Tiago with a full crew, depending on the job. For an exterior repaint on an older house, or interior work where the cut lines have to be sharp, this is a strong shortlist call. Pin down the prep scope — what gets scraped, patched and primed — and the start date, and you will know what you are buying.
