A Google page with 505 ratings and a 4.9-star average is unusually deep for one address, and the reason it holds up review after review is simple: somebody answers, and a tech turns up. This Plymouth branch of the national Roto-Rooter chain is the number South Shore homeowners call for the plumbing crisis that can't wait — a backed-up toilet, a burst pipe, a drain that won't budge — any hour, any day. Recent visits keep circling back to the same names — Kiro, Christian, Ethan, Gabe — praised for showing up quickly and walking customers through the fix before starting. One reviewer got a midnight sewer-line backup cleared within the hour; another had a three-person crew spend hours clearing a collapsed drain pipe from a cramped, damp crawlspace on an emergency call. A different customer said the company fixed a clogged tub drain and a Toto toilet after a local plumber they'd called first couldn't manage either. Of the 40 reviews logged in the past six months, only three turned negative — not a spotless run, but a consistent one. The recurring gripe in that window is price, not workmanship. One reviewer was billed $681 for 25 minutes of drain work, another called a $335 toilet-snake job "way too expensive," and several five-star reviews still use the word "pricey" in the same breath as the praise. Two separate complaints describe follow-through problems: a requested receipt and email that never arrived, and a $400 toilet-flapper repair that started leaking again within a week. It isn't universal — one customer said the price actually came in $125 under a competing plumber's quote, with a six-month warranty included — but the pattern is real enough to plan around. This is the call to make when a plumbing problem can't wait until morning, not necessarily the cheapest option for a routine fix. Get a firm price before the technician starts, and follow up if paperwork like a receipt doesn't show.

We had a big surprise with the toilet tub and sink backing up all at once with all the water coming out from under the toilet. We knew this was to be an awful job. Old house with old plumbing. Tiny bathroom. Our amazing technician Kyro took care of the whole job going above and beyond as the job was very difficult and took much longer than expected. He was professional and efficient even cleaning up. More importantly very pleasant and personable. I also appreciated how he made sure we understood the process and the price in order to proceed. A great asset to your company. Thank you Roto Roota

Kiro came to our house to fix a partial blockage in one of our pipes from the basement toilet to the septic system. He explained exactly what he was going to do, and tried to do it in the most cost efficient way possible. He was pleasant and courteous and helpful in explaining what he problem was and how to avoid it going forward. Finally, he recommended a free follow up with a camera to see if anything was missed in the pipe, which we accepted. He came on a Saturday when everyone else was closed. Great work!

Kiro did an outstanding job diagnosing our plumbing issues. He, also, did an exceptional job clearing the blockage within the house.
