Rr Paving And Masonry.

RR Paving and Masonry is a Norwalk, CT company that customers hire for patios, walkways, driveways, steps and walls. Its website offers free estimates, says it has been in business 15 years, and claims over 600 completed projects. Customers name Rafael as the person who quotes, designs and works on their jobs. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor license, HIC.0668469, is registry-verified active under the name RR Paving and Masonry. Google shows 5 stars from 44 ratings, HomeAdvisor shows 4.9 stars from 43 ratings, and Thumbtack shows 4.6 stars from 18 ratings. The written reviews run from 2011 to 2026. Patios and walkways are the jobs customers describe. A 2025 customer hired Rafael to repair a sinking stone at the patio edge; he found improper leveling was sending water toward the house and flooding the basement, and the job became a patio expansion and redesign that the customer says came without upsale pressure. Another 2025 reviewer met many contractors for an estimate, chose Rafael, and exchanged many texts and photos with him to settle on the stones for stairs and a walkway. A 2022 reviewer had a walkway, driveway and front steps repaired after they had been sinking and buckling. A 2025 driveway job was expected to take 2 days and was finished in one. Customers also describe a repointed chimney and front steps, and a 2022 reviewer with over 80 outdoor stairs says Rafael helped replace all of them. Repeat hires come up in the reviews: one customer says Rafael has done numerous projects for them, and two HomeAdvisor reviewers from 2023 were hiring him a second time. Both 1-star reviews are on Thumbtack and are about getting no answer. In June 2026 a customer says the company never contacted them back after saying it would look at a wall rebuild job. In 2018 a customer received an email that the company could no longer do the job and would rather have heard from the company directly.
