Project timeline — a June 2026 customer's one gripe was completion timing
Sixty feet of backyard fill sliding down a steep slope, property lines closing in and a shed in the way — that is the job a homeowner handed Brendon Ruhan, in a February 2024 review, and the one his crew worked out. Ruhan General Contracting is based in North Attleborough, and by the company's own account Brendon Ruhan founded it in 2015, a lifelong builder who started working construction summers at 16, following his grandfather's trade.
The work is additions, decks, finished basements and whole-house remodels. A 2025 review describes an office and two walk-in closets built over a garage. In a 2023 review, two small rooms became one primary bedroom — wall down, new closet, carpet and paint. A 2021 customer had a 15-by-30-foot deck standing six feet off the ground torn out and replaced.
Customers come back. One who first hired Ruhan to swap an old bulkhead basement door wrote in February 2025 that the quality and speed sent them back for a bigger project; another, writing in 2024, had known and worked with Brendon and his crew since 2012 on custom jobs with detailed direction. In July 2026, a homeowner who got a deck in 2024 returned for an addition with a laundry and mudroom remodel above the garage, and said it came in within the originally communicated timeline.
Timing is the thing to pin down. A June 2026 customer whose personal-training studio build-out Ruhan finished said the one thing they were not happy with was the timeline for completion, even while praising the craftsmanship and the responsiveness. Put that next to the July 2026 addition that landed on the promised schedule, and the completion date is what belongs in your contract.
The Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #184056, is active on the state registry in the company's name, and the BBB has accredited the business at an A+ since 2017. Its own site lists a Rhode Island registration as well, and a service area running from North Attleborough and Attleboro out to Rehoboth, Seekonk, Cumberland and Lincoln.
For an addition, a deck or a basement finish around Attleboro — particularly a job with an awkward site problem attached — this is a crew homeowners here hire twice. Get the completion date written into the contract, and ask whether Brendon or his project manager CJ will be running your job.

Brendon and everyone that works with Ruhan General Contracting did a great job for us both building a new deck in 2024, and recently an addition with laundry and mudroom remodel above our garage within the originally communicated timeline. Everyone involved was excellent addressing any questions and concerns we may have had along the way.
Ruhan did the build-out for our new Personal Training studio and the finished product was fantastic. Extremely happy with the craftsmanship and customer service responsiveness. If I had to find anything I wasn’t happy with it would be the timeline for completion of the project and construction delays. Other than that, I am very pleased with how the overall project turned out.
Ruhan General contracting is one of the most responsive and thorough contractors I have ever interacted with . The owner Brendan Ruhan and his project manager CJ will make sure that you are happy and do amazing high quality work for any job they are given. The offer reasonable and fair pricing across the board. Dont hesitate to hire this company for your contracting needs! Thank you for everything. Hope to work with you again soon, Brendan!
If I could give them 100 ⭐️ I would. Ruhan completely transformed my house into something I am so proud of. My house was super outdated, didn’t have any kind of flow and just needed a big glow up. They were extremely well at communicating, got us a quote quickly and got to work. They knocked some walls down, new wood floors, sanded and stained, completely new kitchen, cabinets, counters, appliances, new paint, evening out the ceilings, light fixtures, electrical work, plumbing, doors & trim. Where the walls were they put new wood floor down, it was so flawless you would never know there were walls there before. Every single person that worked on our house was an expert at their craft and they were also very nice and respectful. I would recommend Ruhan to anyone who has a house project.
Brendan and CJ are true professionals who take the time to understand your project, research options, and help you make decisions based on their experience. We worked with them on constructing an office and two walk-in closets over our garage. The Ruhan team consists of skilled craftsmen who deliver a quality product and experience from start to finish. We are very satisfied with the new space. Very grateful we got connected with Brendan and his team. We highly recommend them for construction and renovations. Thank you to the Team!
