Russ Gorman Painting is a painting outfit run by Russ, who says on Thumbtack that he owns a third-generation painting business dating back to 1986. In a 2020 review, a customer who had just bought an 18-room, 5,400 sq ft house with paint untouched since 1989 said they had every wall, most of the ceilings and every door painted, and the brown trim and doors painted white. That 2020 customer said they cleaned up after themselves every day and never left a mess. A 2020 customer said Russ recommended a lighter color than the dark one they had in mind for their living room, and that he showed up when he said he would and worked the whole time on the jobsite. A 2020 reviewer wrote that Russ painted two of their bedrooms. A 2020 customer said they had him do multiple jobs, from painting a room to painting cabinets and the exterior of the house. A 2021 customer said the job was completed quicker than expected. A 2020 customer said Russell was hired to paint the interior of a raised ranch he said would be done in 5 days, and that the one painter he sent was there for over 6 days without completing the bedrooms. That 2020 customer said they paid $2,600 down, the worker left the job the next day on Russell's command, and Russell would not answer calls or refund the money.
I am very happy I hired Russ Gorman Painting Co. Great customer service. The finished product was great and completed quicker than expected. Really went above and beyond for customer satisfaction. I would hire him again in the future.
Russell was hired to paint the interior of a raised ranch. He claimed the house would be done in 5 days. So Russell sent one guy to paint. He was there for over 6 days and did not even complete the bedrooms. I told Russell he needed to hire more people to help this painter, but he refused. I gave Russell $2600 down and we agreed to call it a wash if they finished the 3 bedrooms. The next day his worker grabbed the equipment and left the job on the command of Russell. He will not answer calls or refund my money. This is not over, and I would stay away from this company.
Russ did a great job, we are extremely pleased with the quality of his work and professionalism... he was super responsive to all my requests and worked in a timely fashion.

We had just purchased an 18 room home, 5400 sq ft and paint that had not been touched since 1989 and it showed. We had these energetic men paint every wall, most but not all of our ceilings and every door and I mean every door white. Every piece of trim and door was that natural brown look that looked 70 s and they painted ALL of that Greek villa white as well as every door, closets and all the same color as the trim. In the end we were living in a home that didn t even look the same. Even the previous owner stopped by to grab some mail, and he couldn t believe what he was seeing. Nothing short of amazing is all I can say. Most of all they cleaned up everyday after themselves and never left behind a mess.... we can t say that about our contractors !! You won t be disappointed !!!
