A recent Google customer hired Ryan's Masonry for a bluestone patio and sitting walls, said Ryan returned every phone call, and wrote that they would hire the company again — and did. On its Better Business Bureau page, the company describes masonry repairs and the installation of patios, driveways, fireplaces and firepits, stone walls, steps and stairs, for both commercial and residential customers. The BBB grades it A+. A 2019 customer said the work on a retaining wall was fast and clean. A 2019 customer wrote that Ryan and team kept the work site clean and completed on time. A 2018 customer said the company installed flagstone around a pool and was the low bidder of three estimates. A 2018 customer said Ryan's Masonry gave a fair price to resurface a driveway with asphalt. A 2019 customer who hired Ryan to install a new asphalt driveway said the old driveway was ripped out right before Thanksgiving and left a muddy mess for almost a month, and that the finished driveway was not smooth, with giant puddles when it rained. A 2018 customer felt the pavement provided was the bare minimum and rated the overall job as fair. A 2018 customer suggested a more open line of communication, saying the timeline and plan seemed to fluctuate. A 2026 Google reviewer complained about a truck parked blocking the sidewalk in Bridgeport. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0641290, as active, held by Ryan's Masonry LLC.
Truck parked blocking the sidewalk in Bridgeport CT. UNACCEPTABLE.
Ryan's masonry did an incrediable job with bluestone patio and sitting walls ! Ryan returned EVERY phone call and made sure I was happy with everything ! Would definitely hire again (I did !) He is extremely honest and professional !
work was done fast with good quality and price fixed all issues I had with the project
Very pleasant guy. We did not manage to complete the project.
I hired Ryan to install a new asphalt driveway in Oct of 2018, there was no choice for asphalt driveway under the drop down. He indicated he would be completing the job quickly and everything sounded good. After 2 weeks and multiple text messages for an update he ripped out the old driveway, right before Thanksgiving, leaving a mess in the process. At that time, I questioned the installations timing, he indicated that it would be in the next 2 weeks. Ryan left my driveway a muddy mess for almost a month - through the Thanksgiving holiday, despite multiple requests for updates, I received no answer. If the customer service was poor, and the job had been done well, I would have cut him a break. The driveway install was horrible, it is not smooth, there are giant puddles when it rains, and he did absolutely nothing to clean up the mess he made of the yard. Not to mention the asphalt that got on my siding- he did nothing to clean it off. I will be posting photos as well
