BBB lists it at 6 Glenville Avenue in Allston; BuildZoom's permit file puts it at 183 Tremont Street in Newton, and both print the same phone number. Houzz says it has been in business since 2003, while BBB records a start date of 1 January 2012. Its BBB page carries an A+ grade, and it is not a BBB-accredited business. What the company actually builds shows up in its permit history. BuildZoom lists 43 permitted projects, six of them in the past three years, with a typical permit around $44,100 and the work concentrated in Newton, Brookline and Boston. The three people who wrote about hiring them, all in May 2015, describe work at the gut-renovation scale. One had used the company for years, from minor maintenance to complete gut renovations, and singled out its eye for design on kitchens and baths. Another described a five-story brownstone converted into a two-family: two new master baths, two new half baths, two existing baths renovated, a laundry, a new kitchen and new floors. A third, writing that year after working with Sam Sandoval both personally and professionally, called him honest and fair and said he handles high-end luxury renovations and smaller jobs alike. Ask about licensing directly. Houzz lists construction supervisor number CS091328 and describes the owner as holding CSL, HIC, RRP and MR credentials; BuildZoom lists Massachusetts home improvement contractor licence #180007 and says its own check in March 2026 found it active. Those are directory entries, so confirm them yourself with the state before signing anything. Worth asking too which address and crew you would be dealing with, given the Allston and Newton split, and which of the two founding dates is right. They are a plausible call for a gut renovation or an addition in Boston's inner suburbs, where the permit trail is real and recent. Go in knowing the homeowner accounts behind that 4.7 are eleven years old, and ask for references from jobs finished in the last year.
