Safety Fumigant Pest Control

Safety Fumigant is a family pest control company in Hingham that says it's been serving the area since 1925, and BBB records confirm the same 101-year history along with an A+ accreditation held since 2020. Its own marketing elsewhere throws around 'over 90 years' and '130+ years of combined experience,' numbers that don't quite line up — but every account agrees it's a third-generation, family-run operation, not a franchise. The reviews on file are thin but consistent. In a 2021 review, one customer called Tyler 'wonderful,' on time and professional, and specifically noted the company had 'remained true to its family roots.' A 2023 review describes Mr. Hall giving a free termite consultation and practical advice — mainly to move firewood away from the house — rather than pushing an unnecessary treatment. A 2024 review from a customer on the company's quarterly plan described the crew treating the yard and house exterior for mosquitoes, ticks, and even snakes, and clearing out a fast-growing wasp nest on short notice. In 2025, another reviewer called Tyler consistently prompt and said the company 'treats you like family.' For ants, rodents, termites, ticks, or mosquitoes on the South Shore, Safety Fumigant is worth a call, especially if a straightforward, no-pressure inspection matters — that's what the termite consultation review describes.
