Sagamore is a mechanical contractor based in Hingham, Massachusetts, built around commercial and industrial HVAC and plumbing work — the company says it also handles medical gas piping for facilities like hospitals and labs. It describes itself as founded in 1991 by Joseph Harold, starting out of a small plumbing shop in Sagamore Beach, and says it now serves Boston, Worcester, Lowell, and the wider New England region. BBB lists Sagamore at 35 years in business with an A+ letter grade, though it isn't a BBB-accredited business, and it's listed as a member of the Hingham Chamber of Commerce — a footprint that lines up with a company built for facilities and commercial clients rather than one-off homeowner jobs. On Google it holds a 4.6-star average from 38 ratings, though the individual review sentiment behind that number, drawn from a small, dated batch from 2022, reads more mixed than the headline star average suggests. A 2025 employee review raises disorganized scheduling and disputes over travel pay, worth keeping in mind if a project depends on tight timing. Most of the other third-party material that turns up — directory listings on sites like Procore, Levelset, and primebuyersreport.org, plus a Nextdoor page reusing the company's own marketing copy — restates who Sagamore is rather than describing finished jobs, so there isn't much independent, recent customer detail to check against. Sagamore reads as a fit for commercial, industrial, or facilities-scale HVAC and plumbing work — jobs that call for OSHA 30-certified crews and medical-gas or industrial piping experience — more than as a small residential outfit. Anyone considering them, especially for a smaller job, should ask directly about current scheduling and for recent, verifiable references.

I had to call Sagamore to help out with a bathroom reno when my original plumber on the project couldn't solve existing condition issues in the field. Sagamore's team came in, and within a few days had the entire bathroom renovation complete. I can't thank Dave and Chris enough for their quick response. These guys were great!

Ryan C ain’t joking. Techs should deal with their own personal issues before they get behind the wheel trying to brake check and cause accidents. Vehicle 119 in Hudson, NH around 2:14 pm, November 22nd.

Work environment is very professional, as well as the employees. Sagamore is truly a best in class business. You would be foolish to be in this field and not explore what Sagamore has to offer.
