On Reddit, BBB and Angi, several customers describe charges far above what the job took. The Quincy HVAC and plumbing company describes itself as locally owned and family-run, serving Quincy, Braintree, Milton, Boston neighborhoods and nearby towns. In a July 2025 Google review, a customer expecting to replace their whole heat pump said Josh spent hours diagnosing it and rebuilt the compressor. A December 2025 customer said Jake and Cameron fixed a Whirlpool HVAC system after two other companies said it needed full replacement, and a January 2026 customer said the team tracked down a hidden damper on a zone that would not stop heating. An August 2025 Reddit commenter in r/QuincyMa said Trust 1 had the most availability but was way more expensive, while other local companies could take up to two weeks. Several customers name the charges. A July 2026 customer said a technician flushed a clogged mini split with water in 20 minutes, used no parts, and charged $511, and a manager offered no resolution. A June 2026 customer said their parents in their 80s were billed $989 for what turned out to be a thermostat replacement.
