The company says on its website that it has been in business for 74 years and offers 24/7 emergency service. Its site also lists cooling work: AC installation, replacement and repair, ductless mini splits and heat pumps. The towns it names in its stated service area include Barrington, Bristol, Cranston and East Providence. Its Better Business Bureau page shows an A+ grade and accreditation. A customer on the BBB page complained of being overcharged for home heating oil compared to the state average. A recent Google reviewer warned against trying to fill a propane tank there, writing that the business was open but would not fill any tanks unless it had extra staff, and that they were turned away at 3pm on a Tuesday.

THIEF ALERT/SCAMMER ALERT - I bought a house with a propane tank, Wilkinson came out to do a reading on the tank level so I could pay the seller $250 for the propane in the tank, I had an inconclusive talk with a Wilkinson rep about a few months later about signing up with them (he told me I could "take my time" and think about it), they showed up at my property unannounced and took the tank (including the propane I had just paid $250 for) and never paid me for the propane in the tank (i.e. they stole it). The rep then lied about our conversation and they tried to get me to jump through a bunch of ridiculous hoops to get a chance at getting paid back some tiny fraction of the $250. I never got a penny back from them. UPDATE - do not be fooled by the fake message from the company offering to investigate. They had every opportunity to pay back the money they stole and refused.
Disappointed loyal customer. I was over charged for home heating oil compared to the state average by more than $0.
