A July 2023 Angi reviewer collected estimates from 6 fence companies and wrote that Mario of Scutari Fence and Masonry was the only one to say a 6-foot vinyl fence set a foot off the ground would need heavier duty posts; his crew installed it 3 days later and left the lawn looking untouched. The Plantsville, Connecticut company installs fences and does masonry work, and its Angi reviews from 2022 to 2025 also describe a retaining wall, a chimney repair with a cap, front steps and a stone fire pit area. On Angi it holds 5.0 stars from 49 ratings, and HomeAdvisor shows the same 5.0 from 49 ratings. An April 2025 reviewer said Mario came out the same day for a quote and the crew installed the fence in two days. A July 2022 reviewer said Mario was patient while the fence went through approval by the Historical Society, a task the reviewer called frustrating.
I’ve found the name of the company in a newspaper. Mario got back to me immediately. He came out that very day to give me a quote. He was very professional and promised that he used quality materials. They came in and installed my fence in two days. Mario and his crew were meticulous in doing all aspects of the job. Very easy to work with I will recommend them to anyone and everyone that asked me about fencing. He also does Masonary work.
I had my chimney repaired and a chimney cap installed. They were very professional and did a great job ! They cleaned up after they finished and Mario was easy to work with and kept me advised
I am very happy with the work Scutari Fence and Masonry did for my property. Before the project started, Mario explained what they would be doing for the day, how they were doing the task, and why the task was being done. I appreciated Mario taking the time educate me on different fence and paver materials/types before starting the project. I was informed, and confident in the work being done.
