"Slow drain, gurgling toilet, sewage backup, leaky fixture, broken sewer line, those are the calls we take all day, every day," is how Seacoast Sewer & Drain, Inc. describes itself on its own website, adding that it handles plumbing, sewer and drain work for homes and businesses across the New Hampshire and Maine Seacoast. It advertises 24/7 emergency service. On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 252 ratings. One recent customer called Nick at about 3:00 on a Wednesday afternoon about a septic backup and leak; Chris, his technician, arrived in less than the 45 minutes promised and had the problem rectified in short time. A customer with a main drain blockage made an emergency call on Friday July 3rd, and within an hour Reese came out; the problem was fixed in 90 minutes. A customer who needed a drain line scoped before a funeral the next day called at 1pm and had a technician there by 2:30pm. A customer who had an old cast iron sewer pipe replaced said they dug up the front lawn through snow and ice and returned the lawn to its original condition in the spring. A customer planning another structure on the lot had the sewer line scoped from the basement trap to the street connection and was given its condition, material and depth. A customer who has called three times for septic issues said the most recent visit replaced a worn out leach field pump. In a 2025 review, a customer said two companies in two days could not explain why the sinks in a newly remodeled home were still gurgling; Bob diagnosed and resolved the blockage in about two hours. One recent customer wrote that the work was fast but "Not cheap but ya get what you pay for."
I can’t say enough good things about these guys. Nick answered my call right away and got a technician out to me immediately during an emergency. Reece was the tech who came out, and having worked with him before, I knew I was in good hands. He was knowledgeable, sympathetic, and incredibly helpful. I was pretty much in full panic mode, and Reece bailed me out. He didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need and jumped right in to get the problem resolved. When you’re dealing with a stressful and unexpected situation, having people like this in your corner makes all the difference. Huge thanks to Nick and Reece. These guys are the real deal, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.
I called on Seacoast Sewer & Drain to scope my sewer line from basement trap to line connection in the street. I am exploring the addition of another structure on my lot with services. The technician from Seacoast was able to provide me with the condition, material and depth of my sewer line. With this information I have a better understanding of how and where to tie into the existing line. The technician was knowledgeable and his tools appeared to be state of the art.
Good work and right on the job when needed!
I highly recommend Seacoast Sewer & Drain. They came on Labor Day weekend at 9:00pm and were able to fix the problem the next day. I also used them to replace an old cast iron sewer pipe. They dug up the front lawn through snow and ice and replaced the pipe and returned my lawn to it's original condition in the spring. I recommend them to all my clients. I had a very clogged pipe that was causing my shower and sink to back up. I called Seacoast Sewer & Drain and they were able to send someone out the next morning. Chris came and did a great job. He was very professional and went right to work. The clog was gone in no time. The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company and will not hesitate to call them if I have any other issues.
