The site describes residential and commercial installations and repairs, from whole-house lighting design and code corrections to EV charging stations, backup generators, home theatre, CCTV and network cabling. Sedar Raymond holds Massachusetts electrician licence 50641-EL-E, active on the state registry. Its written reviews run from 2020 to 2024, mostly on Angi and Thumbtack, and several center on EV chargers. In an April 2023 Angi review, a customer said Sedar suggested where to install the charger for minimum wiring, and also replaced a regular outlet and adjusted floodlights at no charge. Another April 2023 reviewer said he found that many wires were disintegrating and did a lot of extra work without charging more than he quoted. In an October 2024 Thumbtack review, a customer said he put in a new outdoor outlet, caulked it so no water would get in, finished within an hour and walked them through the invoice for the work and the new parts. A May 2021 review describes him fixing two malfunctioning circuits that had cut power to the refrigerator and half the kitchen, and diagnosing the cause. There are two complaints. A July 2023 Google review, the only Google rating, says that after booking through Thumbtack, no one showed up or called to say they couldn't come. In a June 2021 Angi review, a customer who was otherwise pleased noted that he left the old coaxial cable in place instead of removing it.
