A customer who has lived in their house more than 30 years says Select Painting Company is the only company that has painted it. That customer describes Jim Parenteau as a painter and contractor, calls his prices reasonable, and says he let them know when some clapboards needed replacing rather than just caulking and painting. A recent customer had an entire upstairs painted, ceilings, walls and trim, and said the team moved furniture when needed. A customer getting a place ready to sell said they worked quickly and touched up some ceiling lines that were not part of the job, which helped the place sell quicker. A customer wrote that they left the space clean and organized each day and completed the work on schedule. On Google the company shows 5 stars from 7 ratings.

Jim Parenteau is an outstanding painter and contractor. Prices are reasonable and he has let us know when some of our clapboards needed replacing rather than just caulking and painting. He has high standards and his and his team’s work is impeccable. We have lived in our house over 30 years and Select Painting is the ONLY company that has painted it! They are the best!!
They worked quickly and efficiently. The place looked fantastic when they were done. They touched up sone of the ceiling/lines that was not part of the job but added so much more to the overall look. Definitely helped to sell the place quicker.
Select Painting did an outstanding job from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and paid close attention to every detail. The quality of the workmanship exceeded my expectations, and they left the space clean and organized each day.
