Senpai Electric is a small electrical outfit in South Boston built around one electrician, Ronny โ every review on file names him personally, and Thumbtack has verified his Massachusetts journeyman electrician license. All five Thumbtack reviews, running from April 2023 to November 2024, are five stars and describe real jobs: rewiring a kitchen during a renovation of a 1750s colonial home (moving a range, a hood, a dishwasher, and outlets), installing new light fixtures, putting up ceiling fans, and a same-day repair. The kitchen-renovation client in 2023 called him quick to respond, quoted a fair price, and willing to pull a permit before starting; a 2024 reviewer said he came back on a Saturday morning just to finish a repair. The written history here is short โ five reviews over about a year and a half โ so it's worth confirming his current availability and getting a written quote before booking, the way you would with any small operator. This is a fit for the everyday residential jobs reviewers describe him doing well: fixture swaps, wiring updates during a renovation, and panel, outlet, or fan installations, from someone people describe as quick to respond and willing to come back to finish the job.
Great experience - needed a fairly simple repair done and Senpai was very quick to respond and got everything done for us right away; even came back a Saturday morning to finish for us.
Can't say enough great things about Ronny. The job was to update electrical in kitchen during renovation (moving range, installing hood and dishwasher, adding/moving outlets) in a 1750's colonial home. -Before the job, very quick to respond, asked good questions, quoted fair price, happy to pull a permit -On the job, showed up on time and fit me into his schedule quickly. Gave helpful advice throughout, communicated about change orders and changes to price. -At the end of the job, followed up with scheduling inspection, checked in to make sure everything was working well. It is obvious he has a high level of pride and professionalism in his work which definitely sets him apart from other contractors (I know because I've hired so many through the years!). He also recommend a sheet rocker that I hired to do some patching and who did great work as well. This is the guy you want to hire.
Ronny was very punctual - completed the ceiling fan installations on time. He cleaned up after the work, one of the rooms required hole to be drilled. Very gentle mannered and respectful. Ronny will definitely be our go-to electrician. We already recommended Ronny to one of our friends who need some electrical work done at theirs.
Ronny was awesome! Came to do an electronic inspection for me and went above and beyond. So easy to work with and even crawled into the depths of my attic and even took trash with him when he was done. I certainly will be going to him for all my electrical needs going forward!
Ronny is an amazing guy. He showed up as promised โ on time on Saturday, and did an incredible job installing new light fixtures in our home. He was very professional and a pleasure to meet, and very patient throughout the process. Ronny went above and beyond to make sure the fixtures looked great and everything was set up exactly how we wanted. We look forward to having him do all our future electrical work and recommend him highly!
