Thirty-one people have rated Sensible Home Solutions on Google and not one of them gave it less than five stars. The through-line in what they wrote is the roof: tear-offs, replacements, and the leak that cannot wait for spring. The company works out of Spruce Street in Haverhill and, by its own account, is veteran-owned. Will Medugno, an Army veteran with more than twenty years in construction, co-founded it with Billy Markussen, who came up through HVAC. The site says the business started in roofing and siding and added HVAC, electrical, ADUs and additions as customers asked for them. Both owners turn up by first name in the reviews, which tells you something about how the jobs are run. The work reaches past the roofline. A homeowner who had a roof replaced in April 2025 came back this year to have every window replaced and said the second job matched the first. Another reviewer this spring credited Bill, Will and the crew for how the roof came out. Comments run back to 2022 across Google, Angi and HomeAdvisor, and the pattern holds steady: clear communication up front, a crew that cleans the site when it leaves. One thing worth knowing before you call. The written record is almost entirely exterior work. Electrical and HVAC sit on the service list, and the company says both came after it had established itself in roofing and siding, so if you are calling about a panel upgrade or a heat pump rather than a roof, ask who on the team handles that work. The company also presents itself as a James Hardie installer and a FORTIFIED roofing contractor; those are its own claims, worth confirming against the manufacturer and program directly if the material matters to you. For roofing, siding and windows across the Merrimack Valley and into southern New Hampshire, this is a well-reviewed, hands-on shop. Ask for the registration number and get the warranty terms in writing before work starts.

Sensible home solutions was hired to replace my roof last April 2025. The price was reasonable. Will and his crew did a great job. I was very pleased with the quality of their work, so much so I hired them this year to replace all my windows. Again very good job. Can't go wrong with Senible Home Solutions and their team.

If I could give ten stars for Bill, Will and their crew I would. I can’t say enough great things about them. Their professionalism and knowledge from start to finish went over and above. Our roof came out amazing!!!!!

We had new siding and windows, along with some deck repair. Will and crew was great when rolling with the curves that always come with a job of this size. The end quality was excellent and he had solid ideas when we got stuck on decisions. We will be using Sensible Home again for any future projects. Prices are reasonable, quality is excellent, and they work with you with any challenges that pop up along the way.

They had come out to replace my roof, in December, in the frigid cold, i commend them on that alone!! Absolutely fabulous company, hard working - fast crew. Extremely diligent with clean up - not a nail in sight * or in any of my tires for that matter! Managed to help secure a very falling down gutter & cleaned the gutter for me while they were up there. Extremely thankful to sensible homes and their wonderful crew, i highly recommend
