A Realtor sent one homeowner to Servicexperts to re-carpet a staircase. In a March 2026 review, that customer wrote that the owners called back immediately and were at the house with carpet samples inside 24 hours. The company sells and installs flooring, cleans carpets and upholstery, and handles water and fire damage restoration out of Amherst, with 24/7 emergency response. It says it has been in the carpet cleaning and flooring business for about 30 years; its BBB page puts the start date at 1991, grades it A+ and lists it as accredited since 4/1/2020. Angi and HomeAdvisor both list it as veteran-owned. Fourteen written reviews run from October 2019 to March 2026, the bulk of them written in 2019 and 2020. Angi shows 4.3 from 13 ratings, 69 percent of them five stars. The jobs behind those reviews are carpet and wood floors: a February 2021 customer paid $2,900 for hardwood installation and called the price very reasonable; a September 2020 customer had three bedrooms, a living room, a stairway and a hallway recarpeted with the furniture moved, and called the rates affordable and the workmanship first rate; a December 2021 customer said Randy finished in the time frame promised. One review is a complaint, and it is about money rather than the work. In August 2020 a customer on a $4,000 job wrote that the work itself was great but that on the day of the install the agreement was changed and an extra $900 was charged to their card without permission, and that the company could not be trusted. The owner's reply disputes the account and points to signed invoices. Two other things are worth clearing up on the phone. The BBB page names Bryan Norwalt as the owner of a sole proprietorship, while the March 2026 reviewer names Randy and Linda as the owners. And the owner's own Angi replies describe the carpet-cleaning side as a separate business trading under the same name — so ask which one is quoting you. For a straightforward carpet or hardwood job around Amherst and Nashua, that is the work these customers describe. Get the quote, and anything that changes on install day, in writing and signed before the work starts.
