Seven Hills Roofing works out of 100 Canterbury Street in Worcester and is hired mostly for the unglamorous end of the trade: finding a leak and fixing it. Homeowners across the city name the same two people over and over — Bill, who quotes and schedules, and Mike, the roofer who turns up. What customers describe most is speed on small, urgent jobs. One 2025 customer with a persistent leak that had already damaged a ceiling said the crew came the same day, found the issue and returned the next morning to repair it. Another in 2026 called about a single leak, had someone out to look the next day and the repair scheduled the day after that. A 2025 reviewer who expected to replace fascia board and gutters was told by Mike after an inspection that it was a simple, inexpensive fix instead, and a 2025 customer said the company recommended attempting a repair rather than pushing the roof replacement another firm had proposed. Several describe quotes coming in under other bids, and one 2026 customer had a price adjusted down after the damage turned out to be less than estimated. The work is not only shingles: reviewers describe slate roof repair, a flat rubber roof, siding sections replaced, gutters and fascia metal on a three-family, and a plumbing boot and chimney flashing done together. A 2024 customer wrote about three jobs over two years — a leak repair and then each half of a very old roof — with clean-up they rated thorough. Google carries 4.8 stars from 135 ratings, Angi and HomeAdvisor both 4.9 from 114, and Thumbtack 4.8 from 16. The complaints are about communication after the fact rather than the work itself. A 2024 one-star reviewer said a flat rubber roof whose seams the company had re-taped began leaking two years later, and that calls went unanswered and a promised call-back never came. Another, in January 2026, wrote simply that the company does not reply and lacks transparency. Against that, several reviewers say the opposite — one in 2025 noted the owner answered his phone at the weekend. This is a good fit for a Worcester-area homeowner who needs a leak diagnosed and repaired quickly, or a roof, siding or gutter section replaced without an upsell. “Seven Hills Roofing team did a fantastic job”
Seven hills roofing did an excellent job…competitive price, on time and completed the job as scheduled…👍
Highly recommend Seven Hills. I have had a couple of siding repairs that required prompt service. Seven Hills is extremely responsive, professional and trustworthy. In each of my fixes the team was fair, prompt and completed jobs perfectly.
Bill and his crew are fast and efficient. Easy guy to get a quote from and easy to work with through the whole process.
Super responsive, scheduled quickly and at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend!
Grat price; lower than original quote since something was less damaged than calculated. The difference not obvious but I was informed and bill adjusted down accordingly. They brought an "army of workers" ; many were non-English speakers but they had a superior work ethic and knew what they had to do. I believe there were 4 woman on the crew; they were particularly good workers. Everyone was polite. Most (including those on roof) were cheerful (often smiling). I did my due diligence when choosing a vendor. No one touched there pricing. No polished adds or slick sakesmanshp. Direct communication. This is the roofer you want. Where they perfect? No, but the little piddly things that weren't "perfection'" was trivial small bits of small pieces of shingles or nails left. I did a pick up after. Only thing I'd recommend is be sure any plants that need protection from small bits get covered well to lower the clean up- especially if the roofers are covering (vs. the ground crew). Still, I say THIS IS THE COMPANY YOU WANT!
