Shamrock Roofing is a roofing company in Walpole. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor licence, number 116925, is expired on the state registry. In a 2017 review, a customer described the Shamrock team working through difficult weather to replace a large, complicated roof, including the removal and replacement of asphalt shingles, rubber roof and copper panels. That 2017 review said the team also replaced cedar shingles on multiple dormers, made repairs to the subroof, replaced damaged molding, a skylight and several copper and wood gutters, and designed and installed a custom heating wire system to prevent ice dams. In that 2017 account, Patrick and his team took the time to explain the options as issues and questions came up. In another 2017 review, a customer with ice dams in winter wrote that Shamrock Roofing was the only company that called back, that Patrick explained the procedure in depth, and that his men cleaned up the yard after the new roof was completed. In a 2016 review, a customer wrote that Shamrock replaced their shingle roof, gutters and dormer siding in 2011, and that they hired the company regularly for gutter cleaning, maintenance and repairs and for roof snow and ice dam removal. In a 2018 review of work on a 150-year-old house, a customer wrote that Patrick and his sons were reliable and skilled, that the Shamrock crew worked steadily for four weeks and cleaned up the job site at the end of each work day, and that the finished result was excellent. In another 2018 review, a customer wrote that Patrick was straightforward about the problems they found and that they fixed it, and that it cost a lot more than the estimate but they worked it out. In a 2020 review, a customer wrote that after two others failed, Shamrock showed up and quickly assessed and fixed the areas of concern around the chimney. In a separate 2020 review, a customer wrote that they engaged Shamrock Roofing (Patrick Harper) to replace the flashing around their chimney and paid a 50% deposit, and that four months later they had not heard from the company, their calls had not been returned and the voice mailbox was full. That 2020 customer wrote that they had filed a case with the Massachusetts AGO.
