Its website says it has over 10 years of experience in residential and commercial painting, offers free estimates and is insured. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor license, HIC.0665649, is registry-verified active under the name Shani Painting. Google shows 5 stars from 265 ratings and Thumbtack 5.0 stars from 211 ratings, while Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.3 stars from 9 ratings. The written reviews run from 2021 to 2026. Quick quotes and quick finishes are what customers write about. One 2026 customer says Shani came the same day for a quote and the crew painted all 3 bedrooms, hallways, kitchen and living room in one day at the quoted price. Another says the crew did a seven day job in five days, and a third had all trim and multiple rooms done in 3 days. A June 2026 reviewer describes crews of 2 or 3 painters over 3 days, all painted surfaces getting two coats, and a couple of minor issues from the final inspection addressed within 48 hrs. Other customers describe a condo with the old popcorn ceiling scraped off and skim coated, an exterior job with power-washing and repairs, and an in-house carpenter repairing extensive wood rot. A July 2026 Angi reviewer says the staining on their exterior siding was not applied properly, which caused flashing and different shades, and that the company will not return a 50% deposit of $5900.
