A recent Google customer says Shaun is professional, courteous and prompt, and communicated throughout the job. A 2025 customer said Shaun painted the outside of the house as well as a shed and deck, and let them know each day what time he would be there. A 2025 customer said Shaun and his crew painted the entire exterior of their home in New Haven, with pricing below other quotes. A 2025 customer hired Risen Painting to paint the entire inside of their home and said Shaun repaired damaged spots and replaced Sheetrock. A 2025 customer said Shaun painted a garage and put in an epoxy floor. A 2024 customer with a small sheetrock repair said Shaun responded the same day with a quote, showed up exactly on time, and agreed to return the next day to add more compound. A 2024 customer said Shaun came back after a painting job to refinish floors and power wash the house. A 2018 customer said Shaun bought and installed a new hand rail for a stairwell, then stained and polyed it. A 2023 customer said the larger part of the job, popcorn removal, skim coating and painting of ceilings, was a disaster, with badly rippled skim coating, and that they fired him. The same 2023 customer said two contractors confirmed the job was very poor, that furniture, walls and floors were not properly covered, and that the skim coating had to be redone and flooring repaired.
